Ticket Prices For Provincial Finals

(Oldest Posts First)

Whilst a hurling fan in the main , looked up tickets for Kerry V Limerick . Cant believe its 40 Euro for a stand ticket and 30 Euro for terrace. I like many others have forked out a lot following the hurlers in recent weeks but I'm a bit shocked at those prices and will probably have to pass on it, may struggle to go to hurling final if its those prices! Are other provincial finals 40 and 30 euro?
This year has been insane with matches crammed into every weekend causing serious financial pressures for families who go to a share of matches. It might suit the Suits in Croke Park to get the championship out of the way as quick as possible over a couple of months - its too rushed altogether at those prices.

I have made this very point before. There should be a "weekend ticket" where a supporter can get to all their county games over a weekend for maybe the cost of 1 game plus an extra fiver. When ticket printed, your name is one it and it can be checked.
There was a weekend a few weeks ago where 4 Wexford matches happened between Saturday and Monday. At 15-20 quid each, people picked and chose and the grounds were half full and the U20 there was a handful. Why not give a discount?

The Connacht Final is a bit cheaper. €35 for the stand and €25 for terrace. Still on the high side, but better value than the Leitrim game, which was a rip-off.
