Ticket Sales - Problems

(Oldest Posts First)

Does anyone have any comments on their attempts to buy good tickets for the National League Finals via GAA/Ticketmaster for this Sunday. I have been trying for three days in succession and can only see very poor tickets been sold in the corner of the Hogan and Cusack stands (Lower Deck). Surely the genuine customers who try to buy their tickets early would not be given very bad tickets, with much better tickets been issued to latecomers. There appears to be no tickets available in the Canal End or in the upper decks of the Hogan or Cusack Stands or indeed in the main lower deck of both stands.

I do not think this is good enough as some people might have poor eye sight and could be supporting their respective counties for 40 - 50 years. Expecting them to see in terrible seats, well away from the action at the other end of the pitch is not acceptable.

The ticket office in Dorset Street also seems to be closed for some reason, even though most shops in the country have re-opened. I believe the main GAA ticket office in Croke Park can be contacted at 01-4851111.

Are the various counties been allocated tickets for sale, and how do supporters who may not reside in their respective counties and live abroad get tickets. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
