Roscommon v Clare-Ros by 4 (I Hope)We have started the league very well and should have a much stronger bench this week with club players returning to see off a good Clare side
Meath v Down- Meath by 3 Two poor sides. Just fancy Meath as i see nothing in Down at the moment
Galway v Offaly-Galway by 10+ Unfortunately Offaly have not kicked on and are miles out of their level here.

Allianz Football League Division 2 round 4 - Saturday:
Offaly v Meath, Bord na Mona O'Connor Park, 2.30pm - A crunch game for both sides - will Offaly have a go here? lets hope so, Meath arent exactly shooting the lights out either but can score goals - Meath 1-10 Offaly 0-08 (hope Ime wrong - a draw you know is very possible - no good to Offaly though)
Cork v Galway, Pairc Ui Chaoimh, 5pm - form would suggest Galway, Cork are stuttering along somewhat - will be closer than most think - Galway 2-12 Cork 1-12
Down v Roscommon, Pairc Esler, 5pm - both drew last day out, Down like Cork stuttering along somewhat - Roscommon drew with Clare in the Hyde _ think Down at home might surprise Roscommon - Down 1-11 Roscommon 1-09 (a draw very possible here)
Clare v Derry, Cusack Park, Ennis, - Sunday 1pm - form suggests Derry, but Clare are certainly more than minding themselves - Derry should have enough fire power over all - Derry 2-14 Clare 1-12

Down v Offaly, Pairc Esler, Saturday -5pm -basement clash, Offaly seem to be improving but this is a long way from home away game, everything here points to a draw - even the tables they are identical in all stats..a draw no use to either -Down might sneak it at home but Ime going for a draw -Offaly 2-10 Down 1-13
Sundays games:
Galway v Clare, Pearse Stadium, 2pm - disapointed in Clare losing by so much to Derry - but Clare have done what was needed in this division in some of their games - cant see them winning here though _ Galway 2-15 Clare 0-12
Meath v Cork, Pairc Tailteann, 2pm - TG4 app (deferred coverage on TG4 from 5.35pm) - God be with the days when this would be a clash of the two best teams in the country and guaranteed an epic - it will be close for sure but not the same glamour as late 80s or early 90s..Meath have better scoring difference and ultimately that points towards Meath winning here...cant figure out Cork at all..Meath 2-12 Cork 0-10
Roscommon v Derry, Dr Hyde Park, 2pm - Derry coming into a tricky game here - Roscommon can hit nice tallies on any given day - but so can Derrry who are top..I think Derry score that little bit more freely and should get a win here - draw very possible - Roscommon 1-12 Derry 2-15.

Very interesting fixtures this weekend as all teams will feel they are must win to either gain promotion or avoid the drop.

Ourselves play a rapidly improving Derry side. They look the part so far and should have beaten Donegal in championship last year so a massive task for us. Head says Derry heart says us. Fell Derry have more done than us training wise and we are only welcoming back numerous forst team players who had extended club season.

Galway Clare could be big Galway win or I wouldn't be overly surprised if Clare snook a result. Galway started flying but shipped worrying scores in their last two games while winning.

At the bottom must win for all four. Offaly will take a bit of confidence from score they put up against Galway. Down were shocking against us. Hard to call.

Cork v Meath a battle of two big counties in worrying form. Meath have probably better players but their manager is a massive weakness. Fancy Cork on form of last day out

Down 2-11 Cork 1-11 -for a change my own Offaly arent in the "basement battle"...this will be a close game, Cork will be desperate to get a win here and at home surely have to go all out here as their lifelines are almost gone. Down will wonder how they lost to Offaly and will be smarting from that..Down appear to be that small bit more competitive at the moment
Galway 0-15 Derry 0-14 (or a draw) - top of table clash I think Galway might sneak a win here

Clare 0-12 Meath 0-11 (or a draw) - a tough game to call - Clare have tapered off somewhat after a promising start to Div 2 -Meath scored well to win against Cork last day out - but that is taking Cork to be so poor. Clare didnt score too well against Galway but I go for Clare to win here at home - only just

Roscommon 2-18 Offaly 0-14 - probably hard to see Offaly winning here at home against Roscommon. That said our scoring has improved (and performances) and we certainly can give this a go and who knows. Roscommon drawing with Derry is giving us notice of the there or there abouts of Roscommon in this Division. Offaly will certainly battle, but cant see it being enough
