That used to catch me out in Waterford years ago. 'Were there many young ones in The Bridge last night' I'd be asked after the night before. They weren't that young I'd say, defensively, clueless of what they were asking! Probably beórs means different things around Ireland too.

The Bridge Hotel,now there would be plenty of younwans as they would say in Waterford in the Bridge,sure werent we very innocent then,not like the youngwans today,

I was a bit worried with words like sport, young ones, tactical and trophy being thrown around. He seems OK though, his explanation is satisfactory.

have ye no sense of humor,this guy is on here talking about wood turning as a sport,I wanted to have a bit of fun,something to relieve the boredom of the lockdown,sure we all said chasing the girls was sport,did ye never chase the girls? did ye never use Tactics to Win a girl another guy fancied as well as you?
