Kerry V Tyrone.

Replying To WanPintWin:  "Pulling a few examples of goals, one of which is almost 20 years ago doesn't really make any argument. People may be having more digs at Kerry here, but other counties get a far worse deal from the media. That probably stirs some of the backlash on the forum.
I'd doubt Kerry are the most cynical team in the country, but then I couldn't really tell you who is. What I will say is I've seen blatant examples from any team I've watched live."
3 of my examples were of goals in allireland finals 2 of which we lost by 1 point in the end.

We conceded 18 goals in 17 games last year, now some will say that's just bad defending, other top teams wouldn't allow that to happen as they will put a stop to your gallop out around 65.

If anything I'd say we're a bit naive when it comes to cynical play really.

Some will say " you would say that ".
Some will say " you must think we're all naive enough to believe that ".
If anything I'd say you're not coding anybody.

Replying To woops:  "The fact of all this is that the Tyrone sub was caught blatantly on tv doing what he was told to do by Micky Harte. The ever so nice Micky Harte!

Typical they can't just own it and admit that their player was caught on blatant tv acting the b****x and David Clifford got punished more for it. Spouting Kerry are more cynical bla bla bla.

Hopefully this incident is a date that will be marked in umpire and referee performances when the fouled player stops getting a yellow for rubbish like this."
The first part of your paragraph which you state as fact, isn't fact at all. It's opinion, unless you have a recording of Mickey Harte's instructions. He might well have told McDonnell to wrestle with Clifford and try to get him booked, but players have done this plenty times of their own volition.
Clifford is very unlucky to have been booked based on the amount of footage we have seen. But we haven't seen the full incident. Only the umpire can tell us what he saw.
We all want an end to the two yellows cop out, in scenarios where there's clearly one instigator. This is where refs need their umpires and linesmen to be very vigiliant for the whole game.

Something like, the Sean O Shea's pull down in the last minute of the first game in the final this year to give away an unscorable free as the Dubs were working the ball into a scoring position is an example of cynical play.

To be fair though, id have no complaints in the same context if the Dubs had done it as well. As one of the lads was saying every county does it, Kerry increasingly so and they would be mad not to, given the joy you can get out of their back line in open play.

Multi username, I wouldn't say it was an unscorable free that Seánie gave away, it was probably unscorable for Dean rock.

SOS has been getting away with a lot of cynical play the last couple years. Was shy to drag Peter harte off the ball last week.

Did Fergie Kelly mention Clifford incident with umpires in his report? Was a lot of verbals when left the pitch.

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.

Tyrone played, and beat Kerry last weekend. Game over, and move on.

Offaly approve of this carry on of targeting the oppositions top forward going by your comment and it was seen at first hand today in Drogheda .

Sam Mulroy of Louth was the victim of much off the ball attention today from an offaly player in Drogheda but when he gave a little back offaly man falls to ground as if shot multiple times and gets the bold Sam a red card at a crucial stage late in the game . Another example of a forward not protected by officials with the underhand tactics of the offaly backs been rewarded .
