Very much doubt the allegations made against Stephen O'Neill.

He should not have to hear such an attack on his character from faceless idiots on line imo.

No cuteness from Harte. Properly try and run past him and make him drag you down in front of the ref. All that's happening there is a defender annoying a forward.

Where's the foul really? The ball comes nowhere nears him and he doesn't really look interested in running past him. Just has his arms out frustrated.

Don't get me wrong it's annoying and I've been frustrated seeing similar happen to Murphy and Ryan McHugh over the years but they've learned they have to make the ref make a decision or properly stand up for themselves.

Harte doesn't make Deegan make a decision there at all.

The people coming up with it should be made either prove it or retract it and offer an apology."
Disgusting story if made up, which I think it is. That's not the Stephen O'Neill I know anyway so I very much doubt this nonsense is real.

Would this not come under the remit of the black card?

Given peters record with black cards he most likely would have got it. The way deegan kept looking at it I guarantee he was waiting for harte to react

Off the ball blocking or interfering with a players run is a clear cut black card.

For what, a body check? Harte is making hardly any effort to actually get passed him. It's a bit of shoving, that's all. He has to make it clear to the ref what's going on rather than just a wee push to the chest for me.

Like I said, I get that it's annoying but the attacker has to do more than take one step and then throw his arms out to the side in frustration for me. Actually try and get away from him properly.

Not saying he needed to react, he needed to make more of an effort to get by him in my opinion. Can hardly say the Kerry fella is impeding him all that much, it's petty stuff like.

I'm sure it was going on all day and is frustrating but he's a key man and needs to be better at getting involved or making sure the ref has a decision to make. All I'd expect Deegan to do from that clip is to tell them to stop any nonsense.

Body checking was one of the reasons the Free Staters brought in the black card to stop the big bad British Nordies taking over. This is a foul all day long. Wait till the final and you will see Dublin get a few. So players now have to dive to get a free. Jesus this sport id dying.

I know Stephen O'Neill. As a mayo man I have compiete respect for him. He taught both my children in school and there is no way he would be a part of this. The kerry management need to come out and deny this story straight away. Also the perpetrators of these allegations need to brought out from the stones they crawled back into. Ex kerry players have had an awful lot to say this week. Time they got a sense of perspective.
