Good man yourself. And in the best traditions of Mayo football, I assume you'll be flying up from Knock.

I expect Rochford to out-wit Horan tactically and help Donegal breeze to a 4-5 point win.

Donegal looking better than anytime outside 2012.

All recipes for a Donegal victory but the truth is Donegal have a quality side at full strength but cannot cope with injuries and still compete at highest level across the park.

Mayo at home for a place in an All Ireland Semi final. I'd make this a 50 50 game regardless of betting odds"
Let's relax with the injuries until you know they are confirmed out.

No team is 100% at the moment. Injuries are expected....as long as you don't your main players you are happy enough.

Will you be able to field a team?

Mayo for me unfortunately. A knockout game at home and a 2 week break to prepare for. People aren't taking the home element into the equation.

Delighted to be wrong.

If mayo do win I would look forward to them playing the Dubs again, the Dubs would like it too no doubt. looks like we have too may injuries and this could be the end of the road for us for 2019, what's the story with the capacity being reduced?

Mayo to win. If they get their tails up and have right attitude Mayo can blow any team out the water. They will need to be psyched up but they have the players to do it. Bring on a siege mentality, a knock out game and a massive Mayo support then the result will be hell for leather for 70+ mins. They have the man markers to sort out Murphy and McHugh.

Why would you book accommodation for a semi. No trophies given out after semi victories and surely you should hold your celebrations until the most important day of all should success come to pass.

Mayo need to sort out their middle 3rd, Clarke was blamed for his kick outs against Kerry yet if you watch the kick outs from behind the goals you could plainly see nobody was moving or making runs and giving an option for Clarke, when I was playing club football and were stuck for a goalie I played there, its a horrible place to be, its up to you to stop goals being scored even if no teammate attempts to make a tackle you are too blame, when you are taking kick outs all you see is 16 players in front of you, 8 teammates 8 opponents, if they all stand there like statues who are you suppose to kick the ball out to, that's why players have to make runs and give options to the goalie, I wouldn't be blaming Clarke for the kick outs problem, its the midfield area that is to blame

Was my joke lost on you? It's a case of health and safety gone mad with reductions in capacity.

Anyway going by your posts I assume you ain't coming to the game due to the fact how terrible fans we are in Mayo?

Should be good Craic around town anyway. Doengal fans are most welcome as always.

Thats true, thats one of the reasons Durcan is such a loss. He has the speed to lose his man and make himself free. I would have Higgans, Eoin o D and Durcan starting all the time, if they were fit.

2 week break for Donegal as well & Mayo's record in Castlebar isn't all that great recently.

Donegal by 4.

At the beginning of the Super 8s I thought it set up well for Mayo having the toughest road game first and finishing at home to Donegal but after the last two performances as well as Donegal's performance against Kerry I can't beating Donegal. They look like they are on fumes and have looked that way throughout the championship even in a the Galway game where they played their best football they were holding on in the end.

I really think we can win this game. Not basing this on arrogance. I think that there are members of the Donegal team who are very focused on pushing on this year and there has been a steady ramp of progress in a good direction. What i would be wary of is the Mayo panel getting 2 weeks to get back to their health and the fact that they will have more of their players availible from injuries that they didnt have over the past month. We will see a different mayo team on sat week, but i believe that we can still win, just about.
