Replying To ryan:  "All the experts I have listened too or read this week are all backing Mayo.
Kevin McStay - Mayo
Dara o Se - Mayo
Kieran Donaghy - Mayo
Tony McEntee - Mayo
Peter Canavan - Mayo"
Canavan said mayo have a great chance but he didn't make a prediction. And if you going to play that game, why not include a few posts from the donegal Democrat or fans page where people are saying Donegal will ploughing through mayo?

Fact is donegal are deserving favorites but Mayo have a chance.

That maybe the case, but it is very different than saying Donegal supporters are cock sure of ourselves or we are hyping up our lads and rubbishing mayo. Different issues. Yeah if u were bothered to trawl thru any Facebook page u will eventually find what u are looking for which is a very different breed of supporter and one that every county experiences before a big game.

I think the bookies normally get it close. I think that pundits sell papers. The reality is that none of us have a clue.

Donegal supporters without tickets would be well advised to stay put . There will be zero tickets available . We really need to advise people this as there is a lot of suggestion thousands are planning on turning up without tickets , this is very irresponsible and could prove dangerous. No ticket , stay at home .

Big difference between experts and supposed fans.

Just watched the TV3 news and they had an interview with Conor McManus, also tipping Mayo.

How would it be dangerous?

Jes there must be some of them tipping Donegal? I'd be a bit worried that they can't all be wrong. I'd have thought the likes of Whelan and Com O'Rourke might back Donegal? I'd pay no heed to what Brolly says either way,I think I read he said Mayo were finished after the Kerry game. I wonder will sky have Jim on the panel on Saturday?

The closer it's getting now the more nervous I'm getting, we will have a better picture when we see who's fit to play.

Really , you don't think thousands of people turning up without tickets is potentially dangerous.

Dangerous? It's in McHale Park not at the edge of the Cliffs of Moher.

It's hardly as if people just show up and start pushing through turnstiles without tickets for god sake.

No, I don't. Perhaps you could explain to me why you think it is?

Replying To rorysboys:  "All the papers pundits are nearly all going for mayo. Huge task ahead on Saturday for this young team. Wundt mind what canavan says he wudnt have much time for donegal anyway. It's a back to the wall job but we'll travel in numbers to support the lads."
I remember Canavan in 2014 talking about Tyrone and Monaghan being the 'big two' in Ulster, around 18 months after we lifted Sam Maguire. Stopped taking him seriously from that day onwards.

Truth be told I can't really see "thousands" of ticketless Donegal people travelling the whole way to Castlebar.

Really looking forward to this - should be a great, authentic game. Both counties have super supporters so the atmosphere will be great. A difficult one to call, but I will go for Donegal to shade it.

I am backing Mayo but on the assumption there is a big performance in them. I thought the same last year heading to Newbridge as well.

Plenty of good pubs in Castlebar to watch the Match. The streets have music planned for the day with over 40 buskers and bands, im sure people without a ticket will find an alternative.

We haven't played well in the championship for nearly two years. When it counted we beat Down, Armagh and Galway, not spectacularly, but we got the job done including one in Castlebar. Donegal looked class, even moreso when they weren't full strength, against Kerry. Our defence still looks shaky but some of our young forwards look fearless and Andy Moran should surely start and give them some leadership. More hope than expectation but this team has to have one big kick left in them to get us a narrow win.

Match ups will be very interesting , a lot are suggesting Leroy for Murphy or Aido , Stephen coen may will take up that job yet. Paddy Durcan for mchugh , let Donegal worry about Aido then .
