I'm glad he's been cleared to play but it still leaves him in a dodgy situation as he's still on 2 black cards. Should never have been put in that spot to begin with."
I think what you mean is he should never have put himself in that spot to begin with.

I'm happy to see him playing and I don't think he's a dirty player at all. I still think he was largely to blame himself though. He needs to stop tripping people with his foot. Like the the one against Donegal was either a black card or a yellow depending on whether it is interpretated as deliberate or not. Either way it was a poor challenge and it also happened to be against one of the most fouled players in football. Ryan McHugh. McHugh needs protection from referees cos he's constantly shipping challenges like that.

While the black card has not been applied consistently, overall I feel it has helped reduce significantly the numbers of fouls in a game.

He was put in that spot by poor and unfair officiating of the game. That's why it has been questioned by so many people to begin with. There's a general consensus that what happened here was unfair. The vast majority of the opinions being put forward,by GAA people in general, and some well known pundits,is that he should never have been sanctioned with the black cards to begin with. Not going to rehash the whole thing again but that's what I think. You can think what you like.

I think it was his own fault for poor ( tackling ) . It was clear enough to see what he was doing if you were being honest about and not biased. He's free to play now but hope he has learned his lesson.

Two of the 3 were deliberate foot trips. Cynical tackles and Black cards every day of the week.

Who's reffing this game on Saturday anyway? He'll be a brave ref to give any black to Tyrone let alone to PH!

They were black cards as much as Aidan O' Shea deserved that's penalty against Fermanagh a few years ago :)

What has that got to do with anything.

This bullshit that is going around about poor tackling technique and how Poor Petie needs to practice how to tackle properly.
Spare me

Harte is around long enough to know what he is at.
Putting out your foot and tripping an opponent is a deliberate act.

And falling to the ground without good reason like a big Fairy is also a deliberate act. The point I'm making is that sometimes refs make the wrong call that can have massive implications for certain players and teams.

It's not the refs doing the diving or the fouls, for sure they make wrong calls but is the fault with them or those trying to cheat?

It's the ref fault when they cant enforce the rules correctly. Harte black carded 3 times for trips. Both mcshane and mattie were dragged to the ground today with no cards shown, never mind a black card.
