Replying To royaldunne:  "Really ?? Only for all our forwards to have a brain fart in Leinster final they score would have been a lot closer. So either we have progressed or dubs have regressed. Anyway it wasn't a moral victory, Meath don't do moral victories. We were put out cause of the ref. Not cause we lost the game. It happens we move on and look forward to hopefully getting Tyrone and a fair ref. Nothing more than that can we ask."
Ifs, buts, maybes, the ref, our management, our players had a Brian fart. There is always excuses with Meath supporters.

Lets he honest. Meath are the pick of the next round. It would probably be for the best if you don't draw laois as the supper 8's would be a demoralising experience for you.

Replying To Game2Halves:  "Don't feel too bad Kildare fans, it wasn't Meath you played today. You played what prob is second best team in ireland. We beat Dublin in croke park this year in the league with plenty to spare. Tyrone will go all way to semi final at least if not lift sam for fourth time. They showed a real lack of interest in Ulster but always have their eye on main prize. I think they like qualifiers because of all the games they get, better than winning province and sitting around for weeks."
Lad calm down. We have beaten Derry, Antrim, Longford and Kildare so far and were trashed by Donegal.

We have proved nothing apart from that we can beat very poor teams.

Hopefully we can draw Meath in the next round to guarantee a place in the super 8. The other provincial losers could be tricky though.

Brian doher headband? Peter the not so great getting a fair shoulder. Graham geraghty Martin O'Connell. Yeah we use excuses :) . I really want Tyrone , just remember to leave the stupid Palestinian flags at home this time. Don't want to have you lot removed again.

A few Tyrone ones completely and embarrassingly losing the run of themselves.

We have beat Div 4,3 and 2 opponents. Teams we should beat. Against a good team we were hammered.

We still aren't in the super 8's. And if we get there that will show where we are.

I think some Tyrone supporters should remember that football didn't start in 2003.

For decades we were the whipping boys. Let's not forget that.

Replying To Game2Halves:  "Guys, there are only a few teams that can actually play ball and the gap is growing between them and the rest . The defeated provincial finalists! I'm sorry but would be no threat on any given day to the top dogs of Tyrone, Dublin, Kerry and maybe a full strength mayo side or what looks like a rejuvenated Donegal outfit. Tyrone will be in super 8's without question . In a knock out game, only the above teams could beat Tyrone and Tyrone would hammer all the rest. There are a lot of bad sides around unable to compete, the gap is growing between them and the elite few counties. Kind of makes whole thing predictable. I'm bit unsure about Donegal, i seriously cannot rate them yet. I really believe Tyrone took the hit and threw caution to the wind, in a knock out scenario I could not see Donegal beating Tyrone. Tyrone are very good at getting their act together in a potentially season ending game. Either way it's again all about Dublin, Kerry, Tyrone, Mayo and also Donegal potentially. The rest are miles away from making any kind of impact.."
Galway could easily beat tyrone if they showed some balls and attacked teams.

Meath man still living the 90's I see.

I really cant understand were the arrogance comes from. You have achieved almost nothing for the best part of 20 years.

At least Tyrone fans fundamentalism comes from recent success and constantly playing regular division 1 football and competing at the business end of the championship year after year.

But look I'm not getting ahead of myself like some other Tyrone posters on here. As yet we have beaten nobody of merit. I just really hope that continues with a draw against the weakest provincial loser which just happens to be Meath.

No most Meath fans are very much living in the present, I'm afraid it's Tyrone, with their persistence in a manager who has failed to deliver on the big stage since 2008, who are more evidently clinging onto past glories. A decent team like Donegal exposed your limitations, Kildare did not have the wherewithal last night to expose anything, you may very well draw Meath and you may beat us but after that I'm afraid that's as good as it gets

Again another ridiculous post.

It all depends what you call success. Tyrone would call this past decade unsuccessful by our own standards but if meath achieved half of what we have over the past 10 years you would never hear the end of it.

I don't think I have seen it rag a county so much as it does Meath that they are no longer a top county. You remind me very much if Down. You still talk the talk but cant back it up with anything substantial.

Just a poor county with a load if loud mouths in it.

Boylan was with Meath for 20 odd years sure he only won one more than Harte . Do you label him ? Doubt it .

For someone to say Harte isn't a good manage is just a bar stool gaa man

Harte has won minor , under 21 and senior all Ireland's plus Ulster club honours ,championship club and league . National League .

Enough said

Ifs, buts and maybes, the ref, management, are always pointless excuses but lets leave Brian out of this, totally blameless.

He was a great manager, one who stayed maybe 2-3 years longer than he should have, Harte was also a great manager but he is now staying on longer than he should, time for fresh minds and ideas in Tyrone

Meath and Tyrone fans should desist from their cat calling, join forces and turn their common ire on the real problem with the GAA currently i.e. the shameful, one sided financing of Dublin. It's no good throwing out brickbats at each other while Croke Park and Dublin have a good old laugh to themselves on the sidelines.
