Am having a problem with RTE TV player,haven't used it since 2018 hurling championship,there are no pause and restart "buttons" on it and no button to enlarge screen to full size,anyone know anything about it,do I need to download something as it seems to have changed completely since 2018?Any help appreciated! Tried watching a few games on it the past few weeks. Keeps buffering non stop so, I think you can pause it but it doesnt make any difference. Lots of complaints about it in recent times, not sure anything you can do to help improve it as i have looked and no good info

Are you using it on a browser or through the app? There's a play and pause option in the app, on android anyway. Are you on on iOS? Try starting it and stopping/pausing it for a few minutes before playing to try and reduce buffering. Try it on a different device if you don't make progress.

You can enlarge the screen if first you click/ touch the screen (depending what device you use). This brings up a little square-like icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. You have to act quickly cos the icon is only visible for about 4 or 5 seconds. Click on the icon when it appears and then the screen will enlarge. This should work for a laptop or smartphone. The pause and restart thing I am not too sure on but think that should come up as well for 4 or 5 secs any time you click on the laptop screen or touch it if using a smartphone. If you are still having problems ask a kid for help...they'll get it up and running for you on an enlarged screen and show you the "pause" feature in 2 seconds! All those features are still there....they are just not as obvious to the ordinary Joe Soap (like yourself and myself!) as they might have been previously. Am using a laptop,thanks to all for ur help,will try those tips and if not successful will get my son to look at it next week,am hoping I will want to watch the Limk/Tipp game again after attending on Sunday.Thanks again for help!
