Not always but in that game yes, Donegal should of won by allot more the goal at the end flattered Cavan, now I hope Cavan win this weekend but I can see Tyrone winning as handy as Donegal did unfortunately.

No to be fair it might not be for ye. Roscommon v Tyrone is very much 50/50. win that game and you should make semi-finals once you don't make a mess of the game against us. Lose that and you'll either have to beat Dublin (possible but unlikely) or expect us to beat Tyrone in Croke Park a week after our Dublin game (again possible but highly unlikely). Anyway, we see because it is equally as likely that you will be travelling to Portlaoise as it is to Cork (which means, if travelling from Roscommon town, a saving of over 3 hours round trip in the car). Anyway, best of luck in your games. Ye have a fine team.

Cork v Laois - A dream draw for both to reach the last 8. Too much hype about Cork from decent Munster final performance while its ignored that they were relegated to Div 3 this spring and haven't reached the last 8 for a number of years. I will give them the nod here to win though but Laois will push them all the way. Cork by 2 points. Yondu (UK) - Posts: 845 - 05/07/2019 15:12:48 2205935 Link 2 |

Bennybunny is probably the most negative Cork poster around. Take his remarks with a pinch of salt. ...basically an attention seeker. Roll on with the Super8ths.j

Did the one week turnaround disadvantage laois. Co-incidentally, the counties played a challenge game over the May Bank Holiday weekend at Páirc Uí Rinn with Cork narrowly winning a high-scoring game. crikey (Australia) - Posts: 355 - 07/07/2019 02:09:29 2206735 Link 0 |

Back in 2015, Cork were in a downtrend at a low ebb after losing heavily to Kerry in Munster final (in replay). This year, is opposite. Young team, Hurley and Collins in form, and I believe a good manager is in place. Team is well trained, and whilst defense can be improved, the Cork attack is quite potent.Midfield is strong. The goal this year was to reach the last 8. Obviously, Dublin and Tyrone are tipped to emerge from group, and I am sure that's the way the Cork manager and team wants it. Future looks way brighter than 6 months ago, Sean Powter will return next year, and here's to a good team performance in super 8ths, Today...back to hurling.
