See a lot of talk and feel sorry regarding Longford players unable to play for their county team because they choose to play in USA. As J Brolly said on Sunday game life is full of choices and they choose to play in the North American board football championship this year ahead of Longford.
Rules in New York are even more tougher than N America, they do not allow players to play in New York championship if their name appeared on a current league or championship panel.
Why is this?. Answer is because seeking players for compensation ( or players demanding compensation) is killing club football in NY. Why else would they leave?
