I think you's will win. Saw more attacking potential in Armagh last week and think McGeaney is finally getting it right there.

That's what you get for playing Pat and Joe football lol. Tyrone defence was nonexistent. No plan b when the trad football wasn't working. Donegal fouled with impunity in their defence and body checked all day long and played a total blanket and fully deserved the win. Neither team even close to an AI.

true Cavan supporters know we got out of Gaol last time out and we will need to improve tomorrow . need our forwards to contribute on the scoreboard or we will be heading for the qualifiers.

There was only one average team out there today and it wasn't Donegal. You don't have the forwards to win an All Ireland. Fine team elsewhere but makeshift forwards don't win Sam Maguire.

an open letter to the tyrone players who took to the field today.
This applies to all of you except for Cathal McShane and Michael Cassidy.
What we witnessed today was complete and total capitulaation. In fact if Donegal had won by FOURTEEN points it would not have flattered them. Michael Murphy could afford to kick 3 placed balls wide and at the same time it didn't bother him because he knew there was no fight in his opponents. McBrearty must have thought he was playing against a club junior b defence such was the ease in which he was tapping the ball over the bar.
Many of you never even managed to put in a decent tackle much less get stuck in to your opponents. Many of you spent your time during the game wandering aimlessly around the middle of the field in an attempt to make it look as if you wanted the ball, but in actual fact you had no desire to get on the ball.
About seven of you should now seriously consider whether you are fit to wear the red hand jersey again, and actually should now request to leave the panel, so that players who really want to compete and fight for the ball can actually represent the county with honour. In short you were all a disgrace to the jersey.

it's ok. it will be no harm if he gets a ban...it's no loss to tyrone and maybe then michael cassidy will get the place he deserves

no they won't...unless there is a radical shake up in that team..there were players wearing the jersey there today who should not be anywhere near that squad...we won't even make july

Very disappointed with Tyrone today because I felt they were really going to challenge the Dubs this year. Donegal coasted through the game and could have won by far more. Fermanagh provided a much stiffer test which is amazing. The behaviour of one of the Tyrone backs towards the end of the game was disgraceful and can not be simply put down to frustration.

Congratulations to Donegal on a fantastic performance. Really like the look of them and they are starting to show some of their undoubted potential. Really good big physical players as well but they all look comfortable on the ball. Can carry and run the ball very well too. Tyrone will be a team to avoid in the qualifiers but always felt outside of Ulster Donegal have the better forwards to trouble the big guns. That should be them in the Super 8s now. Would be a massive shock if Armagh or us were to pip them in the final. Also have to give a big shout-out to Breffni today. Pitch looked fantastic and have to say it's a great venue for big games like this.

Delighted with the win today and really we should have won by much more. We need to push on now and win Ulster which won't be easy.
Harte has questions to answer in his team selection. Mc Aliskey and Sludden should surely have started and couldn't believe Cassidy didn't start.
Fair play to Bonner, Eoin Mc Hugh and Niall O Donnell started and played well. Jamie Brennan is becoming a real top class player. If he was a Dub or from Kerry they would be waxing lyrical about him.

Bonner and Co went with the brave call of starting 2 further attackers in Niall O Donnell and Eoin Mc Hugh before throw in while Tyrone dropped 3 attacking minded players more or less for more defensive minded options.

Along with Eoin and Niall, Add in Brennan, MM, Mc Brearty, Thomson, Langan, Ryan Mc Hugh, Eoghan Ban and we went for the win from the off today.

Tyrone were expecting a cagey affair, and had no answers today..another day might be a different story as both teams are close. Hard luck Tyrone.

Found it funny in the warm ups watching the size difference in teams. Ryan, Eoin, Niall, Brennan, Mc Grath, Ban, all small guys compared to the other team but all great ball players.

The attacking play was special today, we defended when we needed to but left 4 up at times in the second half even when the gap went back to 5 in the closing stages.

Well done to Mc Brearty who is getting back to his best. 3rd gear today. Imagine him in 5th.

Congratulations to donegal today on a brilliant result. I thought their game management was excellent and those two catches by Murphy and Thompson at the end were the sign of a team in total control. They kept tyrone at arms length during their purple patches at the beginning of the second half and pushed on then when they wanted to consolidate their lead. Huge credit to the donegal management on their tactical approach by starting Eoin mc Hugh on the wing and bringing Brennan another mobile fast player out to wing forward. This effectively nullified Tyrone's known pace around the middle of the pitch and when that was gone they had no answers. Donegal had a number of top quality skilled footballers on show today. Murphy as usual, Brennan and mc brearty. Credit also to mc hugh and Langan for huge Workmanlike performances

You forgot Mayo? I said similar after Fermanagh game can u imagine the attention Jamie would get if playing for them. That aside he is the perfect role model for any young player coming through put the work in and u can achieve anything. The work this lad has put in off the pitch is incredible. He has transformed himself physically and not just worked on his shooting but so much so he is equally adept off of either foot. I seen him a couple of times playing for Bundoran last year and anytime he got on the ball something happened with panic rife among the opposition he was literally unmarkable.

Great point and one I meant to make myself. The playing surface today was incredible, a credit to all involved. Really like Cavan as a venue. I got parking no problem despite arriving a little late. I was back in car 10-15 mins upon leaving ground this evening with no delay at all once behind the wheel. I can understand why some might have preferred Celtic Park but for those down the country or in south Donegal or south Tyrone Cavan far more appealing.

I've posted already but don't see it on here so here goes.
Well done to Donegal, they outplayed Tyrone all over the field from start to finish and once they got their noses a certain distance in front they never looked like they were gonna be anything other than easy winners on the day. Tyrone need to regroup and think about tactical changes when the game isn't goin their way.
Tiernan Mc Cann was wrong to do what he did. Very dangerous and unsporting behaviour. He needs to ask some questions of himself as this type of action cannot be tolerated. If he is punished after the fact then he has only himself to blame. Not to mitigate what he's done but it's been done by others before him so we don't need any posters on here trying to make it out to be any worse than what's gone on before, and what will undoubtedly happen again. No need to make it about Tyrone either as I've seen it plenty from other county's players but won't name names as we've all discussed those incidents on here at the times they happened through the years.

Congrats to Donegal on their win . The better team won. They wanted it more for sure. Tyrone couldn't be arsed when confronted with the high energy and deep mass defending of huge fit Donegal men . Could be Micky's last year . Maybe it's time

Sore head this morning I'd say bucko.
You sound like you had a few on board at that stage.

Certainly no sore head here...I happened to be in Breffni yesterday witnessing players who are not capable of representing the Jersey...let others come in and be prepared to go down fighting..

It's also time to get some players in who want to play for the jersey...at least seven players out there yesterday didn't want to know..they were hiding!..
