Replying To GDL:  "You have really got to drop your complaining, yes there was holding and dragging but the Galway full forward line experienced way more abuse than the Kildare one. In fact before the game wven started the Kildate number 7 was giving Dhane Walsh some unbelievable abuse. Your number 10 should have gine for striking Peter Cooke and number 19 for the numerous digs on Varley."
Every defence in the country does it. And it's not a new thing either , people who are complaining about galway need to ask qquestions about their own team reacting. If monaghan get a man sent off on saturday it will be 100% the mon mans fault!

This is going to be an Irish soccer team 1-1 draw!!! I shall be throwing a few quid on the draw at 13/2!
We were much the 2nd best team in both Galway and Mon games so no complaints from me if/when we go out this weekend.

I don't think u have to worry unless it is level in last few minutes. Before that both teams will go for it.

What was the lead up to it?? Pulling, blocking etc basically defending the way the likes of Paidi O'Se etc defended all their lives.

I for one would love to see this eradicated however there seems to be some suggestion that this is a new thing and only Galway do it. This has been going on forever.

A suggestion is to change how the officials operate. Linesmen patrol their half of the pitch monitoring off the ball stuff only. They ignore the ball completely and are allowed encroach on the field like referees. Ref's call the line balls themselves (not rocket science). That gives you 3 officials calling fouls, with one following the play and the other 2 focusing on the other stuff.

PS Someone fouling u in know way justify's u lashing out. Whatever about Flynns very minor lash out there seems to be a suggestion that Diarmuid O'Connors elbow smash in to Conroys face was justified because he was fouled!

13/2 is savage odds I'm not a gambling man but I'd take a piece of that.

Simply cannot wait for this game. Simply cannot wait to see this Galway team play live in their home city. So much has been talked about them and how they are gonna win SAM and beat the Dubs in the final. Rumor has it that they have it all....rock solid defense, pace, outstanding midfield and best forwards in the country. I have watched them on tv a few times this year but it must be that you can only be enlightened by their greatness by watching them live as tv is seemingly unflattering towards them. They will put out their strongest team and should have zero excuses against Monaghan.....I just hope the Monaghan lads are so grateful for the opportunity to play them.....something they will reminisce about for years to come.

I saw them in the league in Feb and was impressed. They were cool, composed and clinical on the counter attack. They were very solid defensively. While non spectacular in their performance, they were very clinical and their players had a good understanding among themselves. Basically, they are a very well drilled side and will not blink going down the home straight ahead or behind.

Not being smart, but they will try and lock McManus down thus stopping Monaghan scoring. it is a big ask but something that they will be working on all week. I think that on a day that McManus clicks, Monaghan are very hard to contend with.

If you were at the Monaghan v Kildare game you would have seen them playing Kerry live, they're very good for sure.

I wish Monaghan good luck but I honestly think they blew there chances of reaching a semi against Kerry. Also think it's the break kerry we're waiting for to jump start their season and we could yet see them in a final. There the only team to really threaten the dubs in my opinion.
But here's to good games at the weekend.

13/2? Very good odds to be fair, a tenner has to be put on that for sure tomorrow.
