if limerick can repeat the feat of sunday i will be well impressed.
momentum is a funny thing though.they drew with cork in the league stage of the championship, they certainly wont fear them.
having said that, cork are munster champions for a reason and i suspect they will just about sneak it.

Limerick impressd me hugely the last day. they disappointed against clare but have been excellent all year outside of that. Their back 6 were excellent the last day. I thought Hannon in particualr was top class.
24 points from play is unreal. It may seem harsh but I think they need to be a bit more clinical in front of goal as Cork will likely run up a simialr score line. Goals are likely to be the difference. I fancied Cork before the weekend but it's too close to call as it stands.
Despite Tipp being gone so early I think overall it has been a really entertaining cship.

I think this could be a scorefest, here you have two teams who have been putting up massive scores all year. I think if Limerick don't concede goals they will win, Cork are normally good for a few goals every game which generally have been the winning of their games, so the message is clear for Limerick, no goals against.

We've had alot of brilliant games this year but this could potentially top the lot.

I think limerick might edge it and could easily take a replay to decide it

Fancy Limerick to do it.They should have beaten Cork in the MHC game in PUC with 14 men.
As long as the keep their heads of course.

100% agree about our need to take goal scoring chances.
If I'm to look at the positives the space we created to get into goal scoring positions was excellent.
Hopefully we can click against Cork and convert a few of those chances.

This is a very hard match to call. My head says Cork just because i think they will score more goals.

The only question mark over Limerick is, what happened in Ennis. Still they looked formidable against Kiilkenny. Cork have been going to the well too often this year and eventually they will find it is dry. Eventually you have to build a lead and keep your opponents at bay. I'm hoping for a Cork win, of course, but I wouldn't be confident.

I have a hunch for Limerick and if they keep their feet on the ground and their heads focussed they could have a new vase for the flowers come the end of August, I saw new steel in them last Sunday and was impressed.....

We had a fine display last Sunday, but we must keep our feet on the ground and improve on our apparent failure to convert goal chances on Sunday. There were many positives about the display like the excellent shooting, the strong response to KKs goal and a good recovery from a poor enough first fifteen minutes. However we must remember this KK team were put under severe pressure by Dublin and Wexford, teams gone out of the championship, and were playing three weeks in a row.
Anyway Congratulations to all concerned on a fine win and upwards and onwards for the next few weeks.

What a summer of hurling we've had to date, it's been monumental. if the game in PUC is anything to go by this should be a cracker. going back to that game, Limerick probably deserved to win and were exceptional that night with the 14 men. However, that was Cork's third game in a row, and it was evident in the second half that the Cork team were a bit leggy. Limerick's third game in a row was against Clare, and you could see the effect the previous weeks exertions had on them, with a poor showing. For me there is nothing between these 2 teams - young, skillful, fast and tenacious lads, with both teams able to shoot the lights out. Limerick will be bouncing after slaying the beast. Cork have the experience and heartache of last years collapse to drive them on. I'll go with Cork to win by 2...

Brilliant season so far and am looking forward to the 2 semi finals, both should be a cracker, I tipped Galway to win back to back All Ireland's but Cork look good, now with an exciting Limerick team on the back of a fantastic victory over Kilkenny and a with strong Clare team it's anybody guess who will win Liam, good luck to all 4 teams and their supporters, safe travelling

The countdown is on!!!
Looking forward to a great atmosphere on Sunday in Croke Park. 2 of the best suported teams in any code in the country expected to bring up to 70000 supporters.
After coming out on the wrong side of the result in the last few visits we will be hoping to experience again the great joy of the 2007 win over Waterford.

I just hope our lads play to the levels we know they can.

I hope they do it for themselves, the effort levels in modern day hurling are huge.
