Just looking at the Antrim/Dublin game, it's actually down to be player at Dunloy. LOL Dunloy? The Dubs will never get out alive, you will be imprisoned and forced to work in the fields forever.

It was nice to see Antrim give a Guard of Honour for the All Ireland Champions, Galway yesterday.

It is and all. Don't know why I thought it was Cushendall!

I don't think I've ever been to Dunloy. Might have to change my schedule and plan now!

Not a major alteration - you could still stay in Cushendall/The Glens and you'd be at Dunloy within the half hour as not that far a jaunt. Plus you could just follow the local cars/tractors on match day as they will know the quick way over to Dunloy.

Good stuff! I'll snag a lift in the back of a tractor so!

I'll be staying in Cushendall if I go I'd say as I've been there a good few times before and know a few people round there/Cushendun area.

Dunloy back to Dublin, would be easiest down through Ballymena yeah?

Nah you don't need to go as far as Ballymena. From Cushendall you would head up Ballyeamon Road to the end of that Road where it joins on with the Glenariff/Glenravel Road and turn right towards Ballymena. You pass through Cargan and then about another mile to 2 miles you come to a crossroads signposted Newtowncrommelin (B46 - Craigsdunloof Rd), Orra Scenic Route. Turn up that road and in about 1/2 mile or so the road swings a sharp/90 degree right and a road (Tates Lane) rises up ahead at the corner. Go up Tates Lane til the end and turn left - follow this road all the way to Clough (about 4 miles). At Clough go straight ahead (staggered crossing) towards Glarryford. Follow this road another 2 or 3 miles and you will come to the Fly-over on the Dual Carriageway - you want to go on to it here, heading towards Ballymoney and Dunloy. From there you are another 3 or 4 miles til you come to the signed turn off for Dunloy.

If you are going that way you'll be less than half a mile from my house at a point so you can stop in for some dinner on yer way back :-)

Sorry - misread - that will get you from Cushendall to Ballymena. Yes, go via Ballymena on your way back from Dunloy to Dublin as you will be pretty much all Motorway/Dual Carriageway.

Cheers Offside. I think I know the road out of Cushendall towards Cargan in anyways, up through Glenravel I think.

I'll find Dunloy in anyways. Hopefully we can find some form between then and now!

The Senior Champions from the previous year get a gaurd of honour from the team they are playing in the first round of the championship the following year. This year Dunloy will get the GoH even if it is from bitter/great rivals Loughgiel. So it could be an 'Antrim thing' rather than a 'hurling thing'.
