There's definitely a quality that the club game captures that county struggles to tap into

Can we scrap the county football and make it all about the club? A premier league of the 20 best club teams in the country would be excellent. 11jm11 (Kildare) - Posts: 365 - 12/11/2017 17:41:32 2061862 Link 1 |

The cream still rises to the top regardless of the weather conditions, which means you still get good provincial pairings/AI semifinal and final match ups

Haha what would we be left with every week then a mix of all out brawls with teams being reduced to 10 players each meets ballyraget celebrations meets games having players sent off before the ball is thrown in. some people are fantasists on here, a couple of close games and club is the be all and end all now hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 12/11/2017 19:16:45 2061897 Link 0 |
Cotton wool for Dermo for the rest of the year , being Dublin it will be lambs wool of course

Well done to Rathnew indeed. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11231 - 12/11/2017 19:22:23 2061900 Link 1 |
You get plenty of one sided games then as whoever has survived winter pitches collide in croke park on spring good ground and plenty of mismatches of finals owing to the gulf in ability, not always the cream at all face off.

Haha I never thought I'd see a Mayo person wanting Dermo "on" a pitch. ;)

And there was me thinking you were a GAA man hill. In truth you are a Dublin supporter only & the rest counts for nothing. Sad really, you are missing out on so much. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 12/11/2017 20:14:16 2061917 Link 2 |
