What's the earliest exit that All-Ireland club football/hurling/camogie champions have suffered from their county championship the following season? (e.g. imagine if Dr Croke's had gone out of the Kerry championship in Round 1 (they're currently in the quarter-finals).) Tacaí Liatroma (Leitrim) - Posts: 1226 - 28/08/2017 18:09:02 2039504Link 0

I suppose it depends on the club rules on county players and how successful the county is - I presume this team has a lot of county men do they? IrishGael3 (USA) - Posts: 1092 - 29/08/2017 09:20:32 2039837Link 0

St. Thomas' also struggled to qualify from their group after winning the 2013 all-Ireland - can't remember if they made it. I think that was the year that themselves, Portumna and Clarenbridge ended up in the same group - all 3 had very recently won the all-Ireland. Kiltormer were relegated to intermediate just a few years after winning the 1992 all-Ireland. Gaillimh_Abu (Galway) - Posts: 1041 - 04/09/2017 22:29:58 2042805Link 0
