Question to both teams fans...

If the opposition win, will you stay and watch them lift the cup ?

Personally I didn't and don't want Mayo to win it. I actually don't really have any beef with Mayo. The Mayo for sam bandwagon gets under my skin a bit but I know from my trips to Castlebar that Mayo fans are really welcoming, genuine, warm people with a gra for the game. Their fans and indeed, the panel of players and management teams before have had some rotten luck in finals and they keep bouncing back. When you consider how many times they have lost at the final hurdle, to keep coming back again and again is just so admirable. There is something about that that's just .... its incredible. So if they won, I would absolute stand there and watch them lift it, And I don't even think id be that upset. Weve won 4 of the last 7, That doesn't quench your thirst as a fan and in such a good time for Dublin you want to pick up as much as you can watching this great group of players. But I think winning before would potentially make it that little bit easier if we were to lose.

Mayo fans on the other hand if Dublin win, I wouldn't blame most of them not having the stomach to watch Dublin lift it again and you just not get over the line.. But that said, would you guys be able to stand there watching one of the greatest teams to play the game in recent times cement their place in the history books as GAA fans ?

Personally id stay and id love if our fans did and really respected the effort Mayo have put in to get to the holy grail. Especially the Andy Morans and Keith Higgins. Id like Mayo fans to stay if we win but id totally get why they wouldn't want to If we win.

Wayno1 - I stayed on last year (although I have left in other years).....it is important to be gracious in victory and defeat. All that was going through my head though was "will I ever experience the joy of seeing Mayo win the All Ireland?" - I can only hope this year I will.

I'd love to see Mayo finally do it but you'd have to fancy Dublin and its nothing to do with bottle, curses or what not. Dublin just seems to have the best team, panel and manager in Gaelic Football at the minute.

This attitude of i don't think I would be that upset if Mayo won from Wayno is laughable really i would/will be devastated if Dublin lose and would not be inclined to hang around after the final whistle. It's not about being a bad loser similar to 2014 when Donegal beat us i shook the hands of the hands of the Donegal fans and wished them luck in the final on the way out. Seen too many bad days that as a Dublin fan I want days like the last few years to go on for as long as possible.

I think its going to be epic, this is surely it for Mayo, or is it? Its so hard to know with this team, they're a special bunch. There's the 3 in a row, Mayo's 1st in 66 years. The athleticism is pretty even for this one, maybe we have more pace. But a lot needs to go right in these games for whoever wins them. We've had some rubs of the green but I still think we were the better over all team when we did win.
7th meeting in 5 years, 3 wins for Dublin, 2 draws and a defeat. There's feck all in it lads, if we play as we can I'm pretty sure we will win, but Mayo won't let us play like that, they won't be consumed by containing Dublin, at least I don't think they will, that would be suicide Tyrone style.
Mayo have a couple of injury worries, if they lost Boyle for example, that's a big minus. We don't have to worry too much about things like that, Cluxton apart. I'm gonna go for a Dublin win of 4 or 5, that's with us bringing our A game. But this is not beyond this Mayo team, burning desire can make a man do strange things.
