They've put on extra carriages from Tralee, and with the minors on as well we're expecting about 10,000 to 15,000 Kerry supporters to head up.

True. And I think the Kerry have purposefully pushed the high ball to Donaghy narrative That is all people are talking about cute hoores Scarabin (Dublin) - Posts: 116 - 17/08/2017 14:49:47 2034711 Link 0 |
Good to hear Kingdomboy. Mayo CB said Monday 30,000 Mayo fans were heading up....up that number appears to be increasing as the week goes on. I would imagine a fair few neutrals are also interested in this one.

Hope we have a big Kerry contingent there Sunday, you can see how much the Mayo players feed off the vocal Mayo support at games - we need a big crowd from the Kingdom to help drown them out!!

Ya the predicted hurricane for Sunday won't help matters though.

Joe Brolly claiming james o'donoghue is over rated?thoughts? Dangerman17 (Mayo) - Posts: 26 - 17/08/2017 16:30:48 2034769 Link 0 |
I've seen him outstanding in the past but i doubt he's fully recovered from injury.

I heard that too. He may be right, but I think injuries have played a big part in his demise. He just can't seem to get healthy. Brolly also said that he built his reputation on two games with Mayo in 2014, which is a bit unfair IMO. He was an All Star in 2013 and was excellent throughout, and was POTY in 2014, he had a relatively quiet final in a different role, but played his part and his team won. It remains to be seen if he can get back to that form. GeniusGerry (Kerry) - Posts: 2105 - 17/08/2017 16:42:04 2034777 Link 0 |

He has been unlucky with injuries but on form I think he is one of the most exciting forwards to watch. He has been in good form prior to the Galway game and hopefully he can get back to that on Sunday. Some may think he is over rated but he is still better then any Mayo forward IMO. Brolly normally has a dig at us before a big game so his comments are not a surprise. KY4SAM2015 (Kerry) - Posts: 898 - 17/08/2017 16:58:23 2034785 Link 1 |

Ye are petrified of Dublin. And it shows.

Dublin just about got past Kerry in that epic semi -Final last year.Kerry beat the Dubs in the League Final.I think Dublin are the best team in the country and I expect them to do the three in a row but I'd never take Kerry for granted. Those boys have 37 All-Ireland titles.

Bel when did the Galway seniors last beat kerry in championship? About time mayo tagged them one back but I fear that time was 2014. Can't imagine kerry will be far off on Sunday they usually are well prepared this time of year. I hope Mayo win but on paper I don't see it happening without a top top performance which we haven't truly produced this.

Along with a few others, no surprise if Mayo do win.

When did kerry supporters ever drown out another counties support? If anything yer footballers thrive on playing infront of large opposition support. Sure the will have to bring up a big crowd for the final against Dublin lad!

It'll be a surprise to Mayo.! Kerry have won 18 of their 23 championship meetings.

Something in the water down there it is a rare sight for a kerry football team not to be focused and ready to play at this stage of the year sure they have a few of those 37 because of counties not being properly prepared when they got to the final.

Kerry fans dont tend to go to semi finals.I suppose a lot of your crowd will wait for the final?
