Replying To cavanman47:  "The witch hunting started on the 3rd Monday of September last year and seems to be a common trend now.

I read Alan Brogans piece in the Herald I think it was last Thursday (first and last time!) and he barely alluded to Gaelic Football but instead took every opportunity to discredit anything the O'Shea brothers have written about Kerry."
Talk about not knowing what your on about!!!
The Brogan's and the O'Se's are very close, they have known each other years and are all buddy buddys.
Have a read of Tomas' twitter response to that article.
If you think Alan has it in for the O'Se's you, like Jon Snow, know nothing!

Ahh it was handbags stuff

Donaghy is long past his best and that will be exposed soon enough

I'd have done well against the Galway full back line

Replying To BartMcQueen:  "Closelined Marty McMahon from Clare last year and not even carded. Slam dunked Michael Murphy to ground in league game. no black card issued. I think refereers fear Kerry. You see the backlash when Joe McQuillian and David Gough when made big decisions against Kerry. Gough had to publicly apologies to Kerry"
deal with the incident at hand. we cant start going back on previous incidents. they are done and dusted.
I didn't think there was much in it. anyway the ref had a word and that was the end of it. time to move on.

Pure handbags, both lads going at it and both given a talking to by the red. Another Mayo supporter still having Kieran Donaghy shaped nightmares

Let the man play i say we want the best against the best.

Do you think des Cahill was very pointed in the way he brought up the incident?

I mean he never took kyne to task for his involvement.

I think des had his dubs blazer on big time.

Jesus Christ. The amount of whataboutery that goes on here is ridiculous.

He f4cking put his 2 hands around someone's throat for several seconds. He deserves to be banned for that, nothing else comes into it.

Give over will ya,
No he doesn't, he was hit after he scored that point which started that incident he then had 3 lads pulling out of him around his neck.
The ref dealt with it, end of.

Relax kid, if he's to be banned he'll be banned and nothing we say or do will change that.

Brolly characterized him as the quintessential "fairground freak". No mention of the strangling, Connolly would be banned for that action for 12 months

And that my friend is the issue.. poor Dermo..
Give over there were two of them at it, and it was the Galway lad who started it...and his pals who joined in.

I remember Connolly catching a Westmeath player in a headlock last year and whipped him to the ground ,a much more dangerous offence and he got a yellow for it.

Ah I'd say he'll get a ban alright unless there's something to the OPs suggestion.
Time will tell I suppose , time will tell.

Not sure mate, I think the Sunday game in general try to court controversy more and more, no such thing as bad publiscity.

I don't think there is any advantage to Dublin, Starbar being suspended, it's likely more to our advantage, not having a fresh and tenderised Starbar would likely suit a final opponent at his age.
