Replying To Damothedub:  "Hypocrites
Terracing is practically empty in every ground in the country when open , many choose not to stand they would rather pay extra and sit , me I sit , many Dubs prefer to stand be it Hill 16 or visiting county grounds ,
so we have a situation of Monty Python proportion's were by we have guys who wont stand but reserve the right to give out about not having the option to stand.
Personally would love to see the Hill open for all games just don't think you feck23s would bother your backsides going into the Hill"
There has always been a tradition of both Meath and Kildare young supporters going to the hill and in Meaths case the canal end when it was a terrace ,just because they don't go there when there playing Dublin,I done it once never again very intimidating been outnumbered by the opposition, doesn't mean many supporters don't prefer the terrace, I prefer it myself and it was closed on a few occasions when meath played there in the past much to the annoyance of many fans, sadly It appears that hill 16 is indeed for Dublin only when the attendance is expected to be below 60000. The Dublin fans tell the truth when they sing hill 16 for Dublin only hill 16 for Dublin only

It's about Money though? Rather than the Dubs being treated specially.

Maybe we as Kildare and Meath fans should boycott until they open the hill for us?

Maybe you should be proactive in the real world yes! Nothing to be gained from whingeing on a message board.

Not much Kildare or Meath can do about it this year, maybe the dubs in support of there dear neighbours and friends can boycott the hill on our behalf ?

Not too many on the hill today. Wasn't even a need to open 2 sections.

I'm not taking a swipe at Dub fans but surely they would agree that the Hill should be open for all games
Any Dub fans disagree?

It is a policy at all GAA games to only open the terraces if/when the crowd gets to a certain size?

At the last couple of U21 games in Limerick the terraces have been closed. No chance to stand with the hands on top of a stile, program in hand, bag of Donkey Ford's finest wafting through the air and Linden Village in the pocket. Instead have to sit on those green seats in the uncovered stand getting scalded, or in the covered stand with the massive great support poles blocking yer view.

Ah! But I don't see you denying that you do blame the position of the planets! I knew it!
