CPA Proposals

As usual every poster here has nothing positive to say and no alternative either. I guess you all think the current fiasco of ad hoc club fixtures is fine.
Any of the cpa options are better than the current situation.

Nothing will ever be perfect but something has to be done

I agree that complaining without suggesting alternatives is very easy.

However, on this forum and others there have been many suggestions.

The point is that the CPA's proposals are very badly presented, contradictory and unrealistic.

To produce three tables without any narrative initially and to then update the website with poor narrative is amateur in the extreme. I even spotted a punctuation error which is unimportant but ridiculous at the same time.

Stating that one team gets promoted and one relegated and then proceeding to say "Two Up, Two Down" is a contradiction.

Suggesting that New York play three games in Ireland is completely unrealistic. What if they progress?

My view is that the shortening of the intercounty-season that will take place from next summer solves a lot of problems that the GPA are now trying to achieve. They've been largely ignored due to the furore around the Super 8. The lack of discussion/support for the CPA proposals given their large membership speaks volumes.
