Arrogance? G_G just saying it as it is. All Donegal supporters have heard all week was about so called personal abuse claims towards management with little or nothing in the media actually questioning the shambles that they are. Galway are a good side with some good players but never should be putting 4-17 on Donegal with the players they have available.

Kerry dominanted midfield and had the old one trick pony up front. It was a bit of a sleepwalk really. Moran and Buckley were both excellent, along with the keeper and O'Brien. Armstrong and Comer stood out for Galway, but missed chances made this a snooze for the Kingdom.

If this Galway team had put 10-17 past us, what would it matter now? only thing it might have helped get rid of RG sooner.
anyway the All Ireland is between Dublin and Kerry, unless Tyrone can stop the Dubs, but their form having beaten a mismanaged Donegal doesn't look great now either.
Sam will be staying in the capital.

I hope the County board call in Mr Walsh and quiz him about his tactics today, and his plans for the future. A review is needed if Galway are to stay in division 1 next year. Now is the time to take stock of the season, and to make a plan for 2018. Gaillimh abú

Poorish match, Kerry dropping high ball into Star caused Galway all sorts of issues. They got the result but the back line needs to shore up or the teams left will get those goals Galway didn't. Thought Paul Murphy was unreal, 4 points for wing back is excellent. Stephen O Brien and Barry John coming on gave Kerry a different look also.

Good question. To help develop the younger lads would be the easy answer. But why he's put him in the matchday squad is anybodys guess....

Keegan has already surpassed that after 30 minutes in the second game.

More arrogance. Most Galway people are under no illusions as to where we are at. You and the person I replied to earlier suggest one or two Donegal people think they are better than they are. A bit like your comments last year where we had no business turning up to meet ye in the Minor.

True enough, it wouldn't make a bit of difference if we'd put 10-17 past you. Bottom line though is we're a poor enough team and so are ye. And neither manager is up to much either.

Now don't be trying to drag us down to your level, Donegal will be back and be real contenders again soon, if only we could Jim to come home from China.
Would ye take RG down in Galway, ye can have him on a free transfer!!

Mayo V Roscommon showed what Connacht football is all about imo. Dedication, effort, glory all on display. Galway need to improve their attitude if you ask me, some of their players (and Managment) seem a little bit "cocky" sometimes. Connacht abú

Hard luck to Galway, if ye could have stuck a couple of those goal chances it could have been different.

We were crap, Moran was brutal donnacha desperate as was Mikey geaney,

The only silver lining was Paul Murphy Brian Kelly and Johnny Buckley and Crowley really shone out.

If we play like we played today against Mayo or Roscommon we'd be hammered.

On a final note Galway have division 1 football to look forward to next year and best of luck in 2018.

Of course Donegal are better than what they are showing. Ryan McHugh, Paddy Mcbrearty, Michael Murphy, Neil McGee and Paddy McGrath would get into most sides in the country. That is not arrogance that is fact. Last weekend was a pure and utter shambles on a variety of different levels but no surprise to most who follow the side even though I did not envisage Donegal to be that bad. There is no way with the players Donegal have available in transition or not should be conceding 4-17 to not just Galway but any side. Today merely highlighted what a shambles Donegal have become. Galway got plenty of praise and rightly so but the Donegal management have avoided alot of scrutiny masked by apparent social media abuse.

As for last years minor championship I never suggested Galway should not bother turn up. I was confident in a Donegal win correct based on what I had seen and the facts backed this up. But it is underage football and not an exact science as Galway found out in the final. Comparing provinces is very difficult to gauge. Kerry the eventual winners beat Cork by 4 points the same margin Donegal beat Cork in the quarter final. I also based my opinion that Connaught was weak, an opinion further enhanced when I seen Mayo against Kildare in their quarter final and we know what happened after that. Galway thoroughly deserved the win against Donegal on the day and were better than I gave them credit for. They were far smarter and better coached plus got their tactics spot on. Like alot of Donegal sides lately Donegal were the opposite but that was something difficult to legislate before the game. I think you will find however that is was you're own supporters who suggested that team should not turn up not me. I was very complimentary after the game to that team and disappointed that ye did not beat Kerry. Ye were much closer to them than the scoreline suggested.

I have nothing against Galway football or you're senior team. I think there are some talented players there but there are obvious mental flaws and a lack of believe. Some of the tactics today were also very questionable given that it was obvious from pretty early more emphasis was gonna be needed in attack. But to suggest that by highlighting Donegal's pathetic performance last week magnified more by Galway's own performance today is arrogance on our behalf is nonsense. I have an opinion it may not be right or wrong and u do not have to agree but that is one of the joys of sport.

On the basis of the 2nd semi final ye could play worse and still beat either Ros or Mayo. Great dedication to the cause from both sides but it was really poor fare with doing their best not to win.

I wouldn't take too much notice of mayo and the rossies today which ever1 of them makes it through to meet us in the semifinal won't need any extra motivation and that's for sure.

Jays the mayo fans will be broke by the end of the year the way things are going.
