Dear oh dear The break hasn't done guy much good themaster But God knows how many other usernames you've had since From Kilkenny now are we ? :) All of a sudden a Kilkenny man shows up on a Mayo related thread... speaking the exact same, with the same old stuff as before You're fooling no one. jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 23/07/2017 14:22:40 2021722 Link 3 |
You will feel better overall if you relax a bit on here, like your "brother" from Laois.

I think a lot of the Cork complaints at the end might have stemmed from the incident over at the sideline in front of the benches, in the last minute of normal time of extra time. A Mayo player clearly touches the ball on the ground, and then Mayo get awarded what looked like a very soft free. There is a case however that the player that handled on the ground is fouled. A very rational post but I'm afraid all sense of rationality has long since escaped this thread!

Couldn't remember your alterego (from when you were from the UK ) until Waynol resurrected the Username thread there today. Good man Jinxypoop you know how to stir the pot lol. Jack_Sparrow (Westmeath) - Posts: 1018 - 23/07/2017 15:09:27 2021755 Link 0 |
I suppose it's not unusual for brothers to speak/write alike. Anyway you're using it as a deflection from criticism of another of your wonderful threads. Trying to bring in the Master with you? Can't fight your own battles? Why wouldn't i be interested in a Mayo thread on a national forum? I played as much gaelic football as hurling. Jack Sparrow, i suggest you go back to your nest, you left it too soon. KK1926 (Kilkenny) - Posts: 175 - 23/07/2017 15:12:51 2021757 Link 3 |
Haha Thing is I genuinely wasn't even trying! Hoping Mayo can try and find a bit of form and beat Kerry! Although I'll still laugh my arse off if Roscommon can beat them! :) jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 23/07/2017 15:14:13 2021762 Link 3 |

True. Just google Mayo v Sligo Highlights - 2017 Football Championship for the best example this year. At 21 seconds into that clip, count the steps. I make it about thirteen. What's the actual rule?

Now how would you know who the Master is if you've only been on this board a couple of weeks? The Master was last seen on the grassy knoll in Dealey Plaza wearing his Justice For The 96 t-shirt keithlemon (Australia) - Posts: 920 - 23/07/2017 16:18:30 2021814 Link 5 |
You're not speaking so.

Not sure what's going on in this thread. The thinking was that the ref failed to play all three minutes of injury time, and now we know that Sky incorrectly indicated that three minutes of injury time were to be played and that, in fact, only two minutes of injury time were to be played. (He played 2'45"-ish of injury time.) And we found all this out on page 1, and it has been accepted. How are we on to page 6 for such a non-issue? You should show it off and not be hiding it away the way you do.

Peader Healy said that as far as he is concerned, the timekeeping was not an issue and he also said the ref did a good job. What a classy response from a manager who must have been thoroughly gutted after such a heartbreaking defeat. A refreshing change from the usual whining about refs that you usually hear from the players and management of losing teams. Gaillimh_Abu (Galway) - Posts: 996 - 23/07/2017 17:59:49 2021893 Link 1 |
How do you discern acting abilities over an internet forum? It's an invisible silent movie!!

I thought the Ref did an excellent job and it was the most enjoyable match in the championship to date. He did a poor job though as a linesman!
