5 changes from the team who won the league final....its seems to be a case of who doesn't lose rather than who'll win.....cork are down a few big players and all doom and gloom too....to be honest, I haven't a clue how it will go, I'm travelling down in hope but pessimistic....maybe cork are really as bad as they've shown this year but to lose to tipp two years in a row and on their own back yard is unthinkable for them, they will be fired up

From what I've been reading on here il go for a draw in this game which might not be a bad thing for both teams. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 09/06/2017 12:01:07 1997263 Link 0 |

Cork are missing a few good lads also. But still think they will shade it at home

Standard of forward play been awful in this game. Tipp have the excuse that quinlivan injury maybe upset their play but cork are brutal to watch. No real shape and devoid of ideas. 0-1 to 0-4 in 35 mins of county football is disgraceful ctowers (Dublin) - Posts: 99 - 10/06/2017 17:42:51 1997621 Link 0 |
Woeful stuff to watch both teams trying their best to lose and allergic to scoring. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1709 - 10/06/2017 17:44:18 1997622 Link 0 |
My God! Half time. Cork 1pt with the breeze. What's going on in a county who won an all-ireland 7 yrs ago? Tipp playing in a very controlled manner. Should have more than 4 pts. Laois76 (Laois) - Posts: 1270 - 10/06/2017 17:46:42 1997623 Link 2 |

Absolutely shocking football, Kerry will have it handy once more! It's a joke of a championship in Munster ke40 (Kildare) - Posts: 209 - 10/06/2017 17:58:58 1997630 Link 1 |
Cork looking likely to win Tipperary forwards not good enough. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1709 - 10/06/2017 18:20:44 1997633 Link 0 |
Better approach by cork in second half . Whether through attitude change or change of tactics from management the players seem to have upped their pace of play. Still very low scoring and kerry could probably chance a few pints the night before the final but cork should push on a squeeze through ctowers (Dublin) - Posts: 99 - 10/06/2017 18:26:14 1997634 Link 0 |
Says the Leinster poster!

Would Kildare put it up to Dublin missing 10 players through injury? I don't think so. Yes the game was poor but we were stretched to the limit of our panel to field a decent team today. Losing Quinlivan was the final straw. Even after all of that we nearly snatched it at the end. It would have been robbery had we won. Cork scrape 2 one point wins but I feel Tipp thought the game was done but Cork showed the resolve to dig it out again. Reminds me of numerous U21 finals in the past when Tipp had Cork bate and they once again deny us with a sucker punch at the death. Agreed and can hardly defend an embarrassing half of football. The second not much better and I think it was down to players just having a lash rather than any management decision as quite simply they look out of their depth and Kerry (or Clare who despite your high brow thoughts, they are a settled div 2 team and could as easily be div 1 instead of you but for a bit of bad luck). However I think it's rich that you previously commented on The Munster champ. Kerry have it easy now but it was a competitive champ far more recently than Leinster. Anyway, I agree Cork are terrible and that win today could be a prelude to an embarrassing opening to The Pairc if The players don't do something drastic, because by God the management won't. Everything that was said before the match came to pass, we were down far too many players and had too many only just back from injury playing, add into that quinlivan getting injured early. Talk of cork being useless wasn't exaggerated either. tipp11 (Tipperary) - Posts: 353 - 11/06/2017 12:03:16 1997849 Link 0 |
tipp win if quinlivan stays on the field.
