I shudder to think if we had EVERY Championship game at home how many titles we would have won? At least 50 but I suspect it would quite a lot more. KYTotalFootball (Kerry) - Posts: 280 - 03/06/2017 12:24:27 1993883 Link 1 |
And Limerick are absolutely brilliant aren't they??

Imagine had Dublin or Mayo doped the way Kerry have. I daresay we'd have put a stop to that gallop! Oh....wait :p

F##K no !!!!! We're shite to be honest. a long and miserable history of underachievement .. Lighten up though, it was only a bit of craic following your proclamation of Kerry greatness... Good thing my wife's a Kerry woman, gives me an idea of how utterly humourless some of you Kerry lads are when it comes to your beloved Football... skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 1065 - 03/06/2017 13:37:16 1993906 Link 1 |
Jesus you really have a hxxd on for all things Dublin. DUBLIN didn't give a damn about the league for about 20 years until Gilroy took over and changed the mindset it was one of the reasons that used be thrown out there for why we went so long without winning sam.

So 1 squad player who took a fat burning pill from a a contaminated sample means there has been systematic doping in Kerry? You would want definitive proof if you are going to make libelous statements like that. KYTotalFootball (Kerry) - Posts: 280 - 03/06/2017 13:52:42 1993912 Link 0 |
Actually we are very well known for our wit and literary skills also - Writers Week in full flow as we speak If people think they can try and undermine and sully the achievements for which we have poured our blood, sweat and tears into unanswered they have another thing coming Gaelic Football isn't just another game or pastime for us it's part of our soul, from the moment we are born the game is inextricably linked within ourselves until the day we die. Unless you haven't spent time in Kerry it's hard to properly understand this sensation KYTotalFootball (Kerry) - Posts: 280 - 03/06/2017 14:02:03 1993915 Link 3 |
.Christ man, you'd swear your mothers honour had been defamed or something. Take a few slow, deep breaths. I spend plenty time in Kerry, lovely scenery..People are usually good craic too when football isn't involved. Going to bail out now, small matter of my poor aul hurlers playing Clare tomorrow to concentrate on.. skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 1065 - 03/06/2017 14:48:16 1993923 Link 1 |
Sure everyone's Doping these days lad. Dublin GAA at it financially and Dublin 'fans' on the hill. Firinne (Laois) - Posts: 59 - 03/06/2017 15:08:16 1993928 Link 2 |
Well said ky. God I love being from Kerry, we are the greatest football county of all time and always will be. An Ríocht Abu. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 03/06/2017 15:09:49 1993930 Link 1 |
Well they are not bad at that, or football, soccer, rugby, hockey, camogie etc etc give me Limerick any day

That's great and proves the point that Gaelic Football means more inherently to a Kerry person than it does to your average Limerick, Dublin person etc Of course that is a double edged sword as defeats strike to the soul much much deeper and last longer. Sometimes I feel it'd be easier if I could just let a bad defeat wash away an hour after the game and move on with life but when something is so intrinsic in the DNA rationality doesn't follow on KYTotalFootball (Kerry) - Posts: 280 - 03/06/2017 16:46:49 1993953 Link 1 |
Yeah having one foot in a semifinal for 116 years isn't an advantage at all.. sure. All that winning didn't breed generations of kids that wanted in on that, producing many football families generation after generation with only football on their minds. jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 03/06/2017 17:22:46 1993963 Link 1 |
Explain how we have more leagues than everyone else so Jim? The nearest to us is Dublin which are 9 behind. We have 20 that's 20 league titles kid ;-) KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 03/06/2017 20:18:28 1994031 Link 0 |
Mayos minefield of a draw every year trying to get past sligo and leitrim certainly has seen them rake in the All Irelands. KY4SAM2015 (Kerry) - Posts: 898 - 03/06/2017 20:39:53 1994050 Link 1 |
Thats because they had to go lightly in the league because of the brutally tough Leinster Championship KB KYTotalFootball (Kerry) - Posts: 280 - 03/06/2017 20:46:30 1994054 Link 0 |
You wouldn't mind the whinging about Kerry if it was coming from northern supporters but the only ones giving out appear to be from Dublin, supporters of a team with every advantage imaginable. Is there any other sport in the world where one team gets such systematic favouritism? And yet they never ever stop complaining about Kerry. It's crazy. I know ky , god love them even Kilkenny threw the towel in years ago as they couldn't run the gauntlet which is the Leinster championship . KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 03/06/2017 20:53:03 1994068 Link 0 |
the only with an anyway legitimate compliant is Ulster as they had the Troubles to deal with and a very competitive Championship in the 90's 00's and now albeit the top 3 well ahead of rest KYTotalFootball (Kerry) - Posts: 280 - 03/06/2017 21:40:27 1994120 Link 0 |
The only people complaining about the fact that - quite correctly - HS highlight shortcomings in the Munster SFC appear to be from Kerry. Knoxboya (Monaghan) - Posts: 358 - 03/06/2017 23:55:35 1994204 Link 1 |
