hill16no1man (Dublin)

ah no if you bringing kids you gotta be prepared food drink raingear and even on occasion some suncream (:coz limerick/thurles is closer to the equator than dublin/lougth/meath!!!) and most important of all the hurlies and sliotars for post game puck around and the perma marker for some autographs!"
Exactly its just common sense to be prepared with food and drink for them.
haha You must carry a rucksack with you for all that gear though hahahahaha
the security going into the hill would have a red alert seen you coming hahaha

No harm to ya chap, but I see you've been on other threads all day and have refused to reply to my comment asking a simple question so safe to assume on that basis that what I'm saying is right and you are indeed making more of the crowd issue than what was really there. Everything else are first world issues, but you are totally milking the crowd issues. Why ?

I keep seeing people talk about the terrace the terrace.. Maybe I've picked it up wrong but RD is talking about the problem last year of trying to get into PP... Not the crowd when he was actually in there?

First off I have tried to respond to you in 7 occasions, and wrote lengthy explaining posts. But for some reason none of them made it through. I will try again immediately after this post.

Indeed you are correct I never mentioned terraces, cause I wasn't there. I didn't even mention when we got inside as while the stand was packed it was safe. Again no problem there. The issue arose prior to entrance waiting for turnstiles' /gates to open and the crushing and pushing to get in that was EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, @waynol, my 10yo daughter has said she will come, the precautions I am taking is i will not Q up to enter Parnell park if gates are not open at a appropriate time, therefore mitigating any safety concerns to my child, I will advise others who are bringing children to do the same, however after receiving a email to my concerns from the relevant people my worries have been put at ease, I again was apologized to for what happened last year and given a reason as to why this happened, I was also informed Tha others had made raised similar concerns with them, they have said they will not allow that issue to arise this Sunday. So it would appear that waynol it is only you and hill from Dublin that don't know the dangerous situation that occurred last year, as the highest people not only are aware but accept and have put in measures to assure no reoccurring of those issues.

Good man Roayldunne. How is she cutting? Are you all set for tomorrow? I can't wait for the match. This time tomorrow I will either be drowning my sorrows or celebrating like I won the lotto. May the best team win (Up The Wee County!)

I very seldom make a complaint, I'm more a compliments type of guy, so I would not have posted this originally if it was not a serious situation last year.
However as I sit in stand with my delighted 10yo daughter I want to compliment Parnell park for having entrance open early, helpful stewards easy enough parking and everything spot on for a enjoyable day. When there is a need to complain do but equally and maybe more importantly when there is a need to praise always do. Congrats Parnell , last year was obviously a once off and one you intended would not happen again. Well done.

Fair dues.

Make sure you make them aware of their improvements this year.

Seen as you where quick to lambast them last year by sending them an email.

Think a similar email to commend their obvious efforts improve their standards this year is needed :)

An email of thanks for do I f what should be done as a matter of course
Such a travesty would not happen in DOC. But you would never go there as there are not enough empty seats available as per Portlaoise.
I have being to Parnell Park a few times, clearly the second worst county groubground in the country after Drogheda. it is miserable
