Replying To OLLIE:  "Tyrone
Kerry
Mayo
Louth

All Ireland: Louth.

No harm in dreaming. This was real until my alarm went off this morning. The great Paddy Keenan came out of retirement and led the Wee County to All Ireland glory on the 60th Anniversary of the 1957 win. If Carlsberg only did dreams. An Lu Abu!"
Good man Ollie. That's how to do it.
I see Louth having a good championship, maybe last 12 , and who knows after that. See you in Parnell on the 4th.

Please God Royaldunne. Wee have to beat Wicklow first. Roll on the Championship. Six weeks yesterday the Wee have a battle with the Garden County in your fav County ground in Parnell haha.

Oh stop Ollie , everytime I hear Parnell mentioned, shivers run down my spine.
Ahh the wee will overcome Wicklow, of that I have little doubt.
Ps to all dubs gaa folk, please have stewards and all involved in Parnell better prepared this year. It was borderline dangerous last year. It will be a sell out between Meath and Louth as it was last year. Dont over sell venue, open gates early, ensure clubhouse has no function on the 4th of June, as it is very unfair on those people, my heart went out to that family last year. There will be a huge crowd , many without tickets who cannot gain entry. Be prepared Parnell park please.

That's a bank holiday weekend so more than likely there will be a function on in the clubhouse. Ironically you won't have to worry about Parnell Park if Wicklow beat Louth. Wicklow and the Meath match would be staged in Aughrim.

Replying To royaldunne:  "Hmm I prefer to look at it in slightly different way. Firstly for first time in while Leinster looks rather competitive, you have Westmeath on the up, however I think reaching semi final is there optimum, good run in qualifiers possible. Louth also have improved significantly and I would mark them as very dangerous opponents for Meath first outing should they meet. Kildare were probably a little further ahead of division 2 teams early in league in terms of fitness and prep, they should make semi finals and a good run is also on the horizon, last 8 I think. Dublin? They will get a bit of game v Westmeath but will reach Leinster final. Meath? Ahh my beloved county, the form team at end of league campaign, management settling in nicely, the buzz around Andy McEntee is very much hitting fever pitch, never before has a Meath team been so fit, no more tiring, they can play for 75 minutes every game . Players playing out of their skins, attitude top drawer clinical finishes. The one draw back? Alan Forde injury, he was a firebrand could as easily win you a game as get sent off. A traditional Meath player who played with heart on sleeve. So wher does this put Meath this year? We will narrowly beat Louth, Derby games are always tough. We will beat Kildare in Leinster semi, and then the big one, Dublin wont face a Meath team like this in a while probably 2010, not saying result will be the same, but this will not be a team coming to keep score acceptable, they will be coming to win and disappointed should they not. Andy will know all about a lot of these dubs (he coached a few of them) it will be one hell of a game, but despite what my heart wants I feel this year been year one of the genius Andy tenure is too soon. And ill reluctantly plump for Dublin to have a narrow win. Meath to make last 8.
Connaught? Mayo or Galway, ill say Galway.
Ulster? Donegal Monaghan final, with Donegal (who have impressed me this year ) winning out.
Munster, Kerry
All Ireland. Dublin."
Offaly are playing Westmeath in Tullamore in the Leinster SFC on 11th June. We are aiming to avenge last year's defeat to the maroon men. We then have a massive game v Dublin/ Wexford/Carlow, so writing us off is premature.
Granted Westmeath reached the last 2 Leinster Finals, losing heavily to Dublin in both. This is a new year, and every team starts afresh.

I think the provincial champions will be:
Dublin
Donegal
Kerry
Galway

All Ireland. Dublin if they can sort out their forward line. Yesterday's narrow defeat gets the unbeaten record off their backs, they can start their campaign afresh.
I don't see Tyrone as contenders, they need to get more from their attack. Galway could have a good year.

Wouldn't it be an interesting championship if there was an open draw, the provinces, especially Munster and Leinater have become predictable.

Would you have an open draw with a backdoor in it? I would not mind getting London or New York away in it.
