County Team Expenditure

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Fair enough Yewtree, I don't think I've ever complained about Mayo or any other counties budget/expenditure. I just baulked at the poor aul Kerry brigade YET AGAIN looking for the sympathy vote as if they have it so much harder than everyone else.

One argument that drive me mad is the one along the lines "Oh the GAA are money mad, they are rolling in it etc" - Well the money goes back into the counties, coaching, infrastructure etc so it does go somewhere.

Now are some counties getting their fair share in relation to others? That is another debate. I don't know how the GAA work these things out, it its per head of population or what?

Mayo v Tyrone 1/4 final - Croke Park
Mayo v Tipperary semi final - Croke Park
Mayo v Dublin drawn game - Croke Park
Mayo v Dublin Replay - Croke Park.

That is 5 games my friend."
Maybe supporters should have cut costs by using the hill16 cheaper ticket option for the qualifier quarter final and semi final days and could have added to the cabbage and potatoes fund to feed the students

Sorry YEWTREE

Should have been more specific , if Mayo are spending xxxxxx and many in here seem to be disputing WHAT its been spent on , Then can they give an opinion as to what it actually IS that the expenditure is going on ??? In their opinion

Aye but sure our feet are tired from the walk to Dublin.....the motor car is a pipe dream yet for us malnourished culchies. A seat is a welcome friend.

We only take the hill for the final to upset the locals who are still harping on about like the US invasion on Iraq.

If Mayo County Board state they spent x on food and y on medical bills....then of course you can dispute their figures. I personally don't think they are lying. They have been transparent in my view of releasing this information of which many counties don't or at least the media have not reported.
