I wish more Tyrone supporters could be as honest as this."
What makes you think most Tyrone supporters don't feel this way - most of them I know feel exactly like this?

Would you say most Tyrone supporters in general feel the same way?

Only the ones I know and I know a lot - my message was in response to a Mayo poster who seems to think all Tyrone fans can't admit things are not right and the style is not great to watch - perhaps not the majority of Tyrone fans but in my mini poll on the ones I know it is unaminous.

Ah so a very scientific poll. You, your 2 mates and your dog. Catch your self on. How can you possibly tell if Tyrone supporters back Harte or not. There is more to suggest they do, 7000 people were at the Mayo game.

Listen I think the general consensus from the Tyrone forum and the national forum is that something seriously needs to change.

I am from Tyrone. I work in Tyrone. Most of my friends and all of my family are from Tyrone. I will attend a club game today and speak to dozens of Tyrone people and I guarantee that 99% of people will agree that mickey drastically needs to change his approach or it will be another year of disappointment and regret.

Now you can bury your head in the sand and live in the past if you want but can you honestly say that you enjoy watching the way our team plays or that you have any confidence that we will win the all Ireland this year?

And just to confirm I am not one of these people who think we do not have the footballers or that we have a variety of better club players who are not getting the chance. I think we have more than enough excellent footballers to compete but the way we play football is just plain disgusting and hasn't changed in about 5-7 years so why do you think we should persist or that somehow it will start to work?

Do you have that much blind faith in Mickey Harte?

Blind faith? Did we win Ulster last year? Won Div 2. Should of beat Mayo who in turn should of beat Dublin in the final. We drew with Dublin in the league this year. Beat Monaghan. Yes the last 3 games were poor but if we had if won them the hype train would but more pressure on Tyrone so mightn't be a bad thing.
I too will be doing the exact same thing as you today and I'm in the same situation supporting Tyrone and I feel a massive percentage fully back M.Harte, Devlin and Peter Donnelly and the rest.
Look Tyrone have things to work on, that's obvious. But there is 8 weeks to championship and I feel this Tyrone team will prove many people wrong. Getting though Ulster having to beat Derry,Donegal and Monaghan is going to be a massive ask. But it's something that I think Tyrone can do and then who knows.
I feel we should draw a line under this because we could go back and forth all day. Let's get behind the boys and management and be positive.

PS great to see the clubs out playing again. Might start a prediction tread on Tyrone page for a bit of craic.

Ok we will draw a line under this and I hope you are right and I am proven wrong but I very much doubt.

I dont mind losing if it is to a better team. I just hope we can die on our feet playing an attractive brand of football which I know we are capable of.

Oh and one last thing as it is a serious pet hate of mine. If we had of beaten mayo last year we would not of automatically played Dublin in the final. We would have made a semi final against Tipp.

Good luck today anyway.

So 7000 people go to Mayo to watch Mickey Harte - ah that's what it is! Didn't your county board refuse to fully endorse Harte so that suggests more to my mini poll than you elude? You seem to very angry about me having an opinion and believe me I am a big fan of your county - but I do not like the way your game has changed recently and may I suggest you are not the majority from what I hear.

Tyrone could do worse than watch the second half of the Galway/Kildare game to see how teams take their scores.

This poll of yours-how many thousands of people did you ask? What questions did you ask them? I'm sure it was scientific stuff.
Listen you can have any opinion you want of Ztyrone,it's a free country. But I'm going to take your opinion with a massive pinch of salt after reading some of your other comments. Hope you don't mind.

Thought the better scores came in the second, some brilliant points knocked over.

They couldn't hit a barn door in the first. But some great scores in the second half. Same as the Kerry dub game.

Having watched all the contenders I'm not convinced there are many great forward lines around ( Jack McCarron Monaghan impressed me greatly). It may not be pretty to watch but all the main contenders will be concentrating on the defensive side and getting scores on the overlap. For all the forwards scores will have to be hard earned.

so much talk of Harte needing to stand down and very little on who replaces him if he does. Who comes in and how do they hit the ground running and get them achieving better than the high level they are already at, with a limited enough selection of forwards??

Lee Brennan scored 3-14 for Trillick yeaterday, 3-08 from play. Thats outrageous. Did he even play in the League this year for Tyrone?

Great scoring from Lee. Tyrone decided on keeping the u21's for the u21 championship. Great option to have for championship time.
