Mark Bradley says Tyrone are building momentum as they prepare to face neighbours Monaghan this weekend.

Having got used to winning ways via the Qualifiers, Mickey Harte's new-look side will square up to the Ulster champions at Croke Park for a place in the last four of the All-Ireland.

"It's nice just to be playing at all, especially in Croke Park," the young playmaker told The Irish Independent after Saturday's victory over Sligo. "That is where you want to be playing week in and week out. It's nice to be back here next week.

"It was by no means comfortable. The last 10 minutes, you saw how many mistakes we made. We will just have to improve on that for the next day. That is not going to cut it the next day but we did well to get over the line.

"You are starting to come into the business end of the season. It's going to be a tough now in the quarter-final. Hopefully, we can get through that.

"We are building momentum with each game. The qualifiers have done us the world of good. We have gained a bit of momentum and a bit of confidence. We are getting results and we are just about getting there."
