The Late James Patrick Curry The death has taken place of Jimmy Curry, aged 53 years, at the Erne Hospital in Enniskillen. He had been ill for a short period and had been in hospital for only three days. Jimmy was the youngest of 11 children of Charles and Mary Curry from Teemore and later Enniskillen. He received early education at Drumanneymore Primary School, Teemore and on leaving school worked as a coalman before becoming a taxi driver in recent years. During his spare time he played gaelic football for Teemore Shamrocks and later Slack and Parr. He also enjoyed playing darts as well as watching the sport on television along with rallying and GAA. Following Requiem Mass in St. Michael's Church, Enniskillen, celebrated by Monsignor Sean Cahill, the funeral was to Teemore where they cortege was met by old football mates from Teemore Shamrocks who placed a club football jersey on the coffin before the burial. The Shamrocks also provided a guard of honour at the gates of the graveyard. He leaves one brother Peter (Marie) and six sisters May, Kathleen (John), Rose (Mickey), Patsy (Jimmy), Vena, Angela (John) and numerous nephews and nieces. He also leaves three daughters, Nicola, Jacqueline and Stephanie and a son Michael, and wife of over 20 years, Frances, as well as grandchildren Jamie, Emmett, Ryan, Alana, Orla, Sorcha, Cian, Odhran, Caitlinn, Micaela and Amelie.
