Roslea Shamrocks 1-12
Ballinagh 0-11
The Quigley brothers possessed too much firepower for Ballinagh of Cavan as Roslea Shamrocks booked a place in the last four of the Ulster Club SFC at Brewster Park yesterday.
Seamus and Sean Quigley hit 1-7 and 0-4 respectively as the Fermanagh champions finished with four points to spare.
Ballinagh marked their debut in the provincial championship with the first two points of the contest from Colin Gumley and David Finnegan but Roslea soon took a grip of proceedings and went in at the break with a 0-9 to 0-4 cushion.
Eight minutes into the second half, the hosts held an 0-11 to 0-4 advantage but the visitors set up a tense finale when fighting back to reduce the deficit to the narrowest of margins.
Seamus Quigley put the game beyond Ballinagh's reach, however, when netting a late penalty after he was hauled to the ground.
