GAA president Liam O'Neill was an interested spectator at last Saturday's Lory Meagher Cup clash between Fermanagh and Warwickshire at Brewster Park.

The Laois man took in the game - which ended in a draw - after attending a function in Ballymachugh, Co. Cavan.

"There was nothing more you could want in a game. It was keenly contested, had great scores and finished level," a clearly impressed O'Neill said in the Fermanagh Herald.

Fermanagh and Warwickshire will renew their rivalry in the final if the Erne County can account for Longford tomorrow.

"We're in a perfect situation. It's in our hands, so it's really a final on Saturday between ourselves and Fermanagh," joint-manager Seamus McCusker said. Tweet
