First half
In this slow scoring start to this Lory Meagher round "1", it was they Leitrim host's Morgan Quinn, who eventually registered this game's first score a point from play. Then in quick reply Fermanagh's mid-fielder and sharp shooter John Duffy finally opened they Ernesider's scoring account and created this game's first draw of a point apiece. Moments later they Leitrim sides exotic Kurdish born right half forward Zak Moradi began a triple of points with team mates, Garry McGovern and Clement Cunniffe added their team's second, third and fourth points from play and frees. However they seemly under the scoring cosh Fermanagh quickly replied with a duo of points from John Duffy, to bring the later opening quarter's score as four points for the Leitrim to three points for the visiting Fermanagh side. They Ernesider's now being awarded a batch of scorable frees up to the matches interval, now proceeded to consistently put the slithor wide from every angle. Not so their Connaught host's, who now added a few more handy, points beginning with their ace sharp shooter Clement Cunniffe. However the Leitrim scoring blitz was then quickly grounded to a halt, when previous scoring hero Zak Moradi was immediately Red Card for an off the ball incident, with a Fermanagh defender. Though the Connaught men where now reduced to fourteen players then continued unabated in pucking over the fifth, sixth and seventh points of the opening half. Now less than ten minutes to the game's interval Fermanagh suddenly stopped wasting wides and now began scoring! Firstly a modest fourth point from Ryan Bogue with spectacular strike from mid-field and from play. Then moments later they Ernesider's right full back Danny Teague who previously rambled up field and whilst doing so seized on incoming slither and now added his first and his side's fifth point from play. Then the extremely quiet Fermanagh left full forward Sean Corrigan with slither in hand went on one of classically zigzagging runs dazzling his supporters and opponents like, and there was only one outcome of this personal athletic display, a major score of course. And Fermanagh after twenty five minutes after the match had begun, were now in front, with a score of 1 goal 5 points to seven points for the previously dominant Leitrim side. With the Ernesider's new found scoring process, it was now the opportunity to added a sixth point from a free by John Duffy.

Second half
Fermanagh Create Opportunities And Scores
As in the opening half it was this game's hosts Leitrim, who got the concluding half to a brisk scoring restart, with an eight point from a free by the still inform Clement Cunniffe. And their ninth point from play by Sean Fox. Fermanagh's Sean Corrigan now raised his stick and popped over his side's seventh point from a free. With the games third quarter now quickly ending, they Erneside management brought on fourth sub., Marty Beggan, who was barely on the pitch, and quickly scored his side's eight point from a play. A very quick return for a quick investment. With beginning of the matches' fourth and finally quarter just begun they Fermanagh attack now grab grabbed scoring control of this game, when they sustained an unbearable attack on the fast wilting north Connaught county's defence, a rash puck out by a Leitrim defender resulted in Ernesides centre forward Shea Curran, who scooped the slithor into the deepest recesses of the Leitrim goals. With just over ten minutes to the final whistle and this game's score sheet showing Fermanagh with 2 goals 8 points for the Fermanagh visitors to 9 points for the Leitrim hosts it was the former who were in the scoring driving seat.
The Killer Kehoe-Goals
Sensing that it was Ernesider's who were very effect in control Leitrim's ace free taker Clement Cunniffe decided this was no time goal attempting heroics, with they Fermanagh defence lead by full back Eoin Morrissey saw there absolutely no way the final lines of defence. Now was the time just put a good gloss on their afternoon's faltering performance, by taking advantage of frees awarded to them and score points! Despite the big Leitrim mid-fielders consistent scoring efforts of ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelve points, that quartet of scoring frees was insufficient to contain a rampaging Fermanagh scoring performance. And there was only one Clement Cunniffe. Fermanagh's reply was both minor and major, with their ninth point pucked over by John Duffy. If they north Connaught side had their veteran star, well they Ernesider's had theirs in the character of left half back Karl Kehoe, who grabbed an incoming slither from mid-fielder Ryan Bogue, with the former going on a dazzling run through the heart of the Leitrim defence, and when he got within thirty metres of his opponents goal line, and now let fly with unstoppable drive, which flew into the top of the Leitrim nets. Without question this was both the coup-de-gra for his opponents and best goal scoring activity by Fermanagh hurler in decades. They visitors team management sensing now with this game was firmly won substituted more regular players for their bench team mates. Nevertheless they Fermanagh scoring continuity continued with four extra Erneside points from firstly Sean Corrigan from play, then J.P. McGarry stepped up for his sides eleventh point from play. John Duffy with his twelfth point from free aided by the tallest man on the pitch J.P. McGarry with his second ad his side's thirteenth point. With the game's final whistle now being blown, it was jubilant side who got their Round "1" of the Lory Meagher Cup off to a very successfully start
