Lisnaskea senior hurlers got back to their winning ways, when they registered their fourth win in the inaugural Tain Hurling league competition. Putting their single defeat against Lisbellaw firmly behind them they Emmett's stormed through to win with a magnificent score of 2 goals 19 points to 1 goal 3 points for their firmly under the cosh visitors from Castleblaney, who finished with a very modest score of 1 goal 3 points. Such was their first half dominance that at they games interval they Emmett's were massively in front with a telling score of 1 goal 8 points to a mere solitary point for they Faugh's. Though they Castleblaney side on this matches resumption added an impressive 1 goal 2 points, they were unable to halt a now rampant Lisnaskea side who were went on registered a magnificent 1 goal 11 points. Truly a great morale boosting and fourth victory for they Emmett's. With return of Jason McManus on the playing park and Vinnie Smyth on the sideline they Emmett have recovered their winning ways.

It was Emmett's veteran Jason McManus who got this An Tain Round 5 tie off to quick scoring start, with a point from play. If his Castlblaney opponents had any ambitious to sportingly retaliate, they were to be quickly denied by they fast tackling Lisnaskea defence in one seamless move dispossessed their opponents and then cleared the slithor down field to the awaiting quickly scoring Emmett attackers. They latter team mates continued scoring and adding three more points from firstly Barry Smyth, Shea Curran and yet again Jason McManus, with one point apiece. Then as opening quarter began to fizzle out they Emmett's dramatically stepped up a scoring gears, when they latter player blasted home his side's first goal. With the scores sheet now stating Lisnaskea on a very favourable 1 goal 4 points to nil for they hapless Faughs. Eventually Gerry Brady pucked they Castlblaney's first point from a free. However they latter minor score was just a blip to deceive they visitors that they were capable of competing with they more decisive Lisnaskea side. 'Skea now took over this game's scoring duties for the remainder of they opening half and registered another two points, and finished they first thirty minutes with 1 goal 8 points to a solitary one point for they hapless Castlblaney side.

The Faugh's Fight Back
As if there hadn't been any interval they Emmett side continued their seamless scoring, and now pucking over a further two points from Barry Smyth and Shea Curran. Now rejuvenated Faugh side began their scoring fight back, when firstly Gerry Brady trebled his side's points to three. However they relentless Emmett's quickly answered, with eleventh point from Colin McManus and from play. They latter scorers team mate Shea Curran stepped up the scoring gears with two additional points from play. The otherwise sportingly silent Shea Curran popped over Lisnaskea's fourteenth and fifteenth points from frees. In a complete against play Castlblaney's Paul Hughes ran seventy metres and buried the slithor in the deeper recess of the 'Skea net. However that last major score was far too little and to late change the outcome of this game, which had less than five minutes to complete. In that period Lisnaskea massively and fruitfully stepped up their scoring attacks. Firstly a great goal from Barry Smyth and points from Shea Curran and Francie McBrien.
