Michael Boyle

A well known Arney man, Michael Boyle, died in the Erne Hospital, Enniskillen, where he had been a patient for a short time.
Aged just 52 years, he had been in indifferent health for some time.
Micky was a very kind, pleasant, easy going, and likeable man.
He was a keen supporter of the GAA, having given many years of dedication to it, but in particular to his local club, Belnaleck Art MacMurrows, who he had devoted many years of loyal service to.
He was also a very prominent and committed playing member for the club down through the years.
The deceased also played for a short time with the Kinawley Brian Borus, back in the late 1970's. and featured very much when Kinawley won their first ever intermediate Championship Final back in 1978, when they defeated a very much fancied Maguiresbridge team by four points at Irvinstown, playing at corner forward, he scored a vital goal that contributed to the winning of the game.
