It'll be different on May 19th - McGeeney

He'll be hoping for the same result but manager Kieran McGeeney knows Armagh's May 19th meeting with Fermanagh will differ greatly from Saturday's.

The Orchard County shaded a cagey Division Three decider at Croke Park last weekend, thanks largely to a 1-3 return from troublesome targetman Andrew Murnin, but there'll be much more at stake and less shadow boxing when they meet the Ernemen in the Ulster SFC at Brewster Park next month:

"It'll be on a completely different pitch, not as much space, but we're happy enough with the performance and hopefully the boys will appreciate it because you don't get too many chances to win something at Croke Park," McGeeney told The Irish News.

"But we know it's not going to be like that in Brewster Park. They play very much on the counter and they're very good at it. On a tight pitch it's much easier to do. It's a heavier pitch as well and no doubt they're used to it, so we have to make sure we don't give the ball away in contact because there'll be a lot of it."
