Farrell to continue in U21 role

Dublin minor manager Dessie Farrell
Dessie Farrell is to remain on as Dublin U21 football manager for a second year.
Last year's All-Ireland minor winning boss has recommitted to the U21 job, despite the disappointment of this year's shock Leinster quarter-final defeat to Longford.
Welcoming the news, Dublin chairman Andy Kettle told the Irish Independent: "It's very important. There was a lot of disappointment when Longford beat us this year.
"It wasn't unexpected, insofar as they had a super minor team three years ago. Dessie has had contact with that group of players right up through the development squads. He would know them. There's one or two others that have come in as late developers.
"I think it's hugely important that he remains for next year as he showed with the minors that he got over the disappointment of losing an All-Ireland when lots of people felt he should have won it.
"Dessie got over that disappointment and came out the following year and won the minor All-Ireland. I would hope that he could do the same for the U21s."
