A day of very mixed fortune for ur Feile Hurlers.
The B's had a tough challenge playing single teams in Plunketts and lost to both Peregrines and the hosts, OP/ER. Their match against Crokes B team was a great display but they lost by 3 points in the end. A heroic display, well done to all.
The A's had a great day that saw wins against Cuala and the day's hosts,Crokes. Our lads were beaten by Whitehall and on leaving Silverpark earlier today the word was that Na Fianna had lost out on qualification for tomorrow's semi-finals on points difference. It was later decided however that Na Fianna and Whitehall Colmcilles would contest a play off tomorrow (Sun) morning.
So it's still all to play for! At 10.15am tomorrow in Ellenfield, our lads take on Whitehall in a 5 minute aside decider. The prize is a semi-final place in Namoh Mearnog and the lads are really looking for a huge Na Fianna turnout to support them in Whitehall's home venue.
Set the clocks for an early rise folks, have just the one boiled egg and get yourselves to Ellenfield for 10.15 in the morning, you're all needed! Tweet
