The hoganstand.com football team of the week.
This year's football leagues reached an exciting climax over the weekend, find out who made our football team of the week …

1. Niall Morgan (Tyrone)

His team's top scorer in yesterday's Division 1 decider against Dublin with five points, Morgan's long range free-taking was flawless and he also kept a clean sheet for good measure.

2. Cathal McCarron (Tyrone)

The tigerish Red Hand County corner-back held Bernard Brogan scoreless from play and the 2010 Footballer of the Year was called ashore in the 58th minute.

3. Kevin Maguire (Westmeath)

Maguire was handed the onerous task of trying to keep tabs on Eoin Bradley and after a slow start, the Lake County defender got on top in his personal duel and Bradley was withdrawn in the second half.

4. Drew Wylie (Monaghan)

Wylie and his Monaghan full-back line colleagues kept the Meath full-forward line under wraps in the Division 3 decider at Croke Park on Saturday evening.

5. Jack McCaffrey (Dublin)

The young Dublin half-back crowned an impressive debut league campaign with the insurance point in the final against Tyrone.

6. Stephen Lavin (Limerick)

The long-serving Lavin played a pivotal role as Limerick overcame a sluggish start to claim the Division 4 spoils against Offaly on Saturday evening.

7. Sean Leo McGoldrick (Derry)

The Oak Leaf number seven enjoyed a fine outing against Westmeath and also made the scoresheet.

8. Patsy Bradley (Derry)

Bradley and his midfield partner, 19 year old Ryan Bell, laid the foundations for the Oak Leaf County's six-point defeat of Westmeath.

9. Sean Cavanagh (Tyrone)

The Tyrone talisman produced another outstanding display, sent over three points from play, and was unfortunate to end up on the losing side.

10. Ger Egan (Westmeath)

Egan kept the Derry defence on their toes with his constant probing and was on target with two points.

11. James Kielt (Derry)

Not for the first time in this league campaign, centre-forward Kielt was Derry's top performer and sent over four crucial points.

12. Eoin Duffy (Monaghan)

Duffy was a constant menace to the Meath defence and finished the Division 3 final with 1-3 to his credit.

13. Paul Mannion (Dublin)

With Bernard Brogan misfiring, the youngster stepped up to the plate again and helped himself to four points, three from general play.

14. Conor McManus (Monaghan)

The Farney County star provided plenty of headaches for Meath captain Kevin Reilly and accounted for five points of his side's final tally of 2-16.

15. Dean Rock (Dublin)

Rock's introduction as a substitute for Bernard Brogan swung the Division 1 decider in Dublin's favour and his two points were of the top drawer variety.
