Clubs are reminded to forward copy of their player Insurance certificate to
[email protected] These must be with the rúnaí before next County Board meetng on Monday, 11 June. Clubs failing to do so will not be included in the Championship draws wich take place on that night.
· The new Playing Rules passed at Congress 2012 come into effect on Friday, 1st June for all underage and adult games and competitions at all levels. Please inform all mentors , officials, players and supporters. The following three rule changes will have a significant impact on games. *A maximum of 8 substitutions may be made in underage and adult league games at all levels. This does not apply to championship. *When the sliotar is played directly over the crossbar from a sideline ball, the score will be worth 2 points. *When play is stopped by the referee due to an injury to a player, play resumes with an indirect free to the team in possession at the time the referee stopped play.
· Great excitement as Dublin Féile fever rises in the capital's clubs - even more so as National Feile takes place in Dublin in early July.
· Our thanks to the Camogie and Hurling county players and officials who will visit National schools in the capital during this week as part of Dublin's preparations for National Féile.
· Our thanks to the clubs that are hosting the Divisional group games and semi-finals on Saturday - Naomh Brid Div.1, Cuala Div.2, Naomh Mearnog Div.3, Ballyboden St. Endas Div.4 and Trinity Gaels Div.5. Check dublincamogie,ie for further details.
· The Féile finals will be played in Parnell Park on Sunday, 27th May 2012. All 5 finals are 20 minutes a side.
· Entries have now closed for the Dublin Féile Skillstar 2012 competition which takes place in Parnell Park on the evening of Friday 25th May.
· As a result of the recent adverse weather it has been necessary to revise the play-off schedule in divisions 3, 4, 5 & 6 leagues. New schedule as follows: Round 1 Tuesday24th. July. Div 6. Thursday 26 th July. Div 3, 4, & 5. Round 2. Tuesday 31st July Div 6. Thursday 2nd Aug. Divs 3, 4, & 5. Round 3. Tuesday 7th. Aug Div 6. Thursday 9th. Aug. Divs 3, 4 & 5. As the Adult Dublin Championships commence on 14th. August the above matches must be played on or before the scheduled date.
