Well done to all those involved in organising the First Year (U14) Secondary School Blitz in Russell Park last Wed. Over 210 boys & girls from 6 local secondary schools participated in football, hurling and camogie competitions. Special thanks to all members volunteering their spare time. We need your old mobile phones. To get a second defibrillator, the club needs 360 old phones. Please drop them into collection point in the club bar. Club Presentation night was a great success. Senior 2 Footballers lost by a point to BSJ in Cup. Junior 1's beat Na Fianna. U13 Footballers had good wins over Crokes & Clontarf. Another busy Sun ahead, Senior Footballers face Lucan at 10.30 in Russell Pk, Senior 2 Footballers face Round Towers© at 10.30 in Russell, Inters face Plunketts away at 10.30, Jun 1's face Whitehall at 12 away, Jun 3's face Plunketts away at 12. Clontarf
Congratulations to all the winners at last Friday's 2010 Adult Players Awards (full list on the website). Junior Ladies are recruiting new players. Contact Grellan Duane on 086 257 9065. Well done to Dublin's U14s with a comprehensive win over Kildare. Our own Fiona Terry had a brilliant game in midfield, managing to score 1-2. For a full match report visit www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie. The U16 girls put on a great performance despite their narrow loss to Castleknock. U15 girls got the season off to a great start with a win away to Naomh Mearnog. The depleted U15A boys had a great win over St Brigids, while the B team comfortably beat Na Fianna C. The U13 boys were unfortunate only to draw with Na Fianna. The U11 A and B hurlers were well beaten by Na Fianna but battled throughout. The U10 hurlers won away to Whitehall, while the U9 girls made it five wins out of six, with their latest game away to Foxrock Cabinteely. Next Monday (14th) the coaching panel will be running a workshop on Forward play- Creating space. Time and venue to be confirmed.
The club is hosting a fundraising table quiz for the International Student Volunteering Program in the clubhouse this Saturday evening at 8.30pm. Megan Casey is aiming to raise funds to go to Costa Rica to do charity work for the summer. There will be plenty of prizes and spot prizes. Entry is €10 per head. www.clontarfgaa.com

It was a successful weekend for the adult teams in our club with both the intermediate footballers and junior hurlers winning both their first competitive games of the season. Congratulations to Seamus McAweeney and his wife who had their 4th son during the week. We are sure that he will also be a great asset to the club in the future.I t was not mentioned in last week's notes that Aifric Ni Neachtain won this year's young ladies player of the year. Good wins for both SF and SH at weekend. Well done to Johnny McCaffrey and Peter Kelly in helping Dublin hurlers continue their good run in League. Membership is extended to March 14th. Round Towers Lusk
The club will again host our very popular Family Day at the club on St. Patricks day, 17th March. Arrangements are currently being made on the line up of events for the day, but it is anticipated that we will have bouncy castles, novelty games, music, kid's games, barbeque, tug o' war, face painting and many more activities for all the family. The day's events will commence at approximately 2:30pm, following the parade in the town.
Well done to our Under 12 hurling team who produced an excellent performance last Saturday to defeat Thomas Davis in Lusk. Final score RTL 3-3 TD 1-2. Also on Saturday the Under 8 team defeated St. Finians in Swords, while the Under 9 put on a great display but were unlucky in their game against Na Fianna in Lusk.
The annual schools Martin Finnegan 7 a side tournament will take place on Tues 8th March @ 1pm to 3pm at the club. The following school teams have been invited to take part in the tournament- Lusk NS, Corduff NS, Hedgestown NS, Skerries NS, Rush NS and St Catherines Rush. Adult football teams remain unbeaten this season. The Intermediate team received a walkover from Fingal Ravens in their Joy Cup fixture, while the Junior team recorded an impressive victory against Raheny in the Duffy Cup. Both teams return to league action this Sunday 13th March, the Intermediate team at home to Kilmacud Crokes at 10:30am, while the Junior team face Naomh Barrog in Lusk at 3pm.
Round Towers Lusk GAA Club run a nursery every Saturday @ 10.45am-11.45am, catering for boys and girls aged 4-7 years old in both Gaelic Football and Hurling/Camogie. At present we are seeking parents who would be willing to help out with running the nursery in any role from coaching to administration/organising. Athletic Development workshop has been organised for all coaches/mentors in RTL Friday 11th March 6.45pm to 10pm. To book a place on course please contact GPO cost is 10 euro per person. This workshop is open to all team mentors from Nursery level to Senior level.

The club Lotto jackpot was won on Thursday night last. Congratulations to the lucky winner Cora Hayden who predicted the winning numbers 3, 8, 16, 27. The next draw will be held on Thursday night, 10th March, with a jackpot of €2,150- tickets can be purchased in the Clubhouse bar.

Fingallians
The Senior Footballers kick started their season with a fine win over St Peregrines. The Juniors v Clontarf will be played under lights on Tuesday 8th in Lawless Park at 8pm.
On Saturday afternoon, Team Spirit of the Juvenile Section was in evidence at Balheary. Having just finished playing in a tough encounter against St. Olaf's, a number of the U13a footballers went straight back out to help the U14b's secure a victory 11-14 to 3-9. Pictures from both games are now on the club Facebook page. There were wins also at U8, U13b, U15 & U16s.
Tickets for the Awards Night on 9th April will be available next week at €35 each (subsidised by the club). Members will have the option this year of reserving a table of 10.

St. Margarets
Adult Club membership for 2011 is well overdue and must be paid immediately to any club executive committee member or team mentors. You are not insured in training or matches if you have not payed. Training Tues & Thurs, gym is open from 6pm. There is a committee meeting this Thursday 10th March at 9pm. No winner in this weeks lotto, the numbers drawn were 10, 11, 15 & 21 next weeks jackpot is €6,800. There is an annual lotto ticket available for the recession busting price of €80 please contact Mary Madigan for details. Under 14 & 15 training continues Tues & Thurs at 7pm & mentors have requested that all players attend. All juvenile registration forms are now overdue & must be returned immediately, mentors are asked to text their panels & let them know. In ladies football well done to Emma Colgan who captained the Dublin ladies under 14 side to a Leinster championship 1st round win against Kildare on Sunday, hard luck to the under 13s who lost to St. Pats of Donabate & well done to the under 16s who had a good win against Na Fianna. On the juvenile footballing front hard luck to the under 14s on a narrow 2 point defeat to Fingal Ravens 1-7 to 1-5 on Saturday, well done to the under 15s who earned a dramatic draw 1-12 to 3-6 against St. Marys of Sagart with the last kick of their game on Sunday. Erin go Bragh CLG are pleased to announce the continued sponsorship of our junior hurlers by Clonee Motor Centre. This is very welcome news and we look forward to a long and successful partnership. The annual club sponsored walk is this Saturday. Can all members please support it and meet at the club house - 2:30 with a starting time of 3pm - cards have been given to all children. Well done to the Colaiste Pobail Setanta Boys Football and Hurling teams who won the Football and Hurling shield on Thursday in the Anthony Talbot Memorial Blitz held last Wednesday and in particular the Erin go Bragh players - Fionn McDonnell (football), Conor Redmond (football), Darragh (football), Daniel Cullen (football and hurling), Gavin Keyes (football), Conor Caffery (hurling and football) and Erica Manning (hurling). Hard luck to the girls who were defeated by Community College Castleknock in the final of the camogie and competed well in the football, in particular Aoife Padden, Alannah Kenny, Sally O'Brien, Xenia McElligott, Vicky Moyosola, Caoimhe Kenny, Erica Manning and Taylor Whelan.
