Ladies Football
Congratulations to Emma Travers and Louise Kidd who helped the Dublin Ladies Football team to a win the Leinster Championship. We wish Emma and Louise all the best for the remainder of the All Ireland campaign and look forward to a Dubs All Ireland title for the second time of asking.
Senior Football
Well done to the senior footballers on another league win in Division 2 in a derby match with our neighbours.
Juvenile Camps
The first of the summer camps was a great success last week. Well done to Gordon Ward and all those who helped at the event. We appreciate the support of the Community Credit Union for their continued investment in the development of the community and for their kind and generous ongoing sponsorship of this event.
Best wishes go to Aileen Boyd and the organising volunteers for a successful Cúl Camp for under 8's which is in full swing this week and we look forward to the second summer camp for juveniles over 8 on 17-19 August. Congrats to mentors Ken & Judy Murphy along with players Sophie Freeman & Sarah Hawkshaw. Congrats to Colleen Barrett, Shorca Furlong, Elaine Kelly, Noelle Healy & Ailish McKenna on their Leinster triumph over Kildare. Well done to Daire Plunkett & Aodhan McEnerney on their Leinster victory over Wexford; Daire had an immense game scoring 1-3. Well done Barry, Paddy & Kevin on their win over Armagh. Well done to our Senior Footballers who returned to AFL1 with their 12th straight league win over Sygne St. Inter & Junior B Footballers had good league wins while the Junior C's drew. St. Margarets
There is a full executive committee meeting on this Thursday at 9pm upstairs in the complex. No winner of this weeks lotto, see notice boards for details. Next weeks jackpot is €7,850.00. 3 wins for the 3 adult football teams last Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights, well done to all. The junior B's kept preserved their top of the table status thanks to a last gap wonder goal from Barry Flood. Training for u-14 and u-15 continues this Tuesday and Thursday at same times, there might be a challenge match for the minors on Thursday evening. The VHI cul camps last week were a great success, many thanks to Barry and all the coaches for making it a great week for all. The next summer camp takes place in August, registration takes place this Thursday and Friday. However, should you have any queries on this please contact Barry Horgan on 0871212449. Great win for Pat Gilroys footballers vs. Armagh and best of luck vs. Louth this Saturday. The hurlers were desperately unlucky to lose out to Antrim by a single point. Castleknock
The great community spirit and drive that defines Castleknock GAA is again to the fore with the successful collection of the 900 tokens needed from participating Kelloggs cereals for the club to enter the Kelloggs Field of Dreams Competition. A big THANK YOU to all club members, friends, supporters, local schools, the parishes of Porterstown and Laurel Lodge, Spar Carpenterstown, Centra Laurel Lodge, Superquinn Blanchardstown, the Gazette Group, Phoenix FM, all the community groups and even the 98FM Toll Trolls who have rowed in and contributed to this achievement. Special mention to all our volunteers and hard working and creative members of the Field of Dreams team. Duathlon - Sunday 12th September 2010. This event is open to all standards of runners & cyclists. The run will be 5km and cycle of 20km. Individuals will have the option of doing both disciplines or it can be done as a relay with another person. We are currently awaiting approval on the route. Entry & further details to follow.
Next Sunday from 9.30 - Midnight, Dancing in fingallians with Harmony. Admission is € 8 per person.

Clann Mhuíre
Congratulations to Oonagh Whyte and Grainne Barrett who won the Leinster under 16 title after defeating Laois with Dublin on Saturday and also to Niamh Keane and Aisling Barrett on their win over Cork with the Dublin Senior B side. Ladies play Naomh Barrog in the Championship semi-final Wednesday at 7.30pm on Wednesday in Pairc Barrog. All support is appreciated. This comes on the back of a comprehensive win over Garristown in the cup last week. Intermediate men also had a hard fought win over Garristown in the league which leaves them still in contention for a play-off place going into the summer break. The newly formed under 10 ladies team got off to a winning start in their first match against the Man O War.
