Dublin hurling selector Richie Stakelum
Former Tipperary captain Richard Stakelum has been appointed Dublin under 21 hurling manager for the coming year.
Stakelum, who famously skippered Tipp to their first Munster SHC title in 16 years in 1987, is currently a selector with the Dublin senior hurling team. He succeeds former Antrim All-Star Ciaran Barr, who also played for Dublin, in the role.
The Dubs will meet the winners of the quarter-final between Kilkenny and Offaly in next year's Leinster under 21 semi-final on June 23.
