Kilcoo 3-15
Kingscourt Stars 0-5

Kingscourt Stars were no match for Kilcoo in this one-sided Ulster Club SFC quarter-final at Kingspan Breffni Park.

Goals from Paul Devlin (2) and Jerome Johnston helped the Down champions ease to an impressive 19 point victory.

Conor Laverty and Darragh O'Hanlon chipped in with five points apiece as they heaped misery on the Cavan standard bearers.

Devlin's first goal boosted the visitors into a 1-7 to 0-4 half-time lead.

The floodgates opened after the resumption and Kingscourt Stars had no answer once Johnston found the back of their net in the 36th minute.

The home side's woes were compounded when defender Padraic Faulkner was red carded while Kilcoo also finished with 14 men after corner-back Daryl Branagan picked up a second yellow card.

It was an eye catching performance from the Mourne County men but they won't be getting carried away ahead of their semi-final clash with Crossmaglen on November 15.
