Promotion will be at stake for the Down ladies footballers when they meet neighbours Armagh in the National League Division 3 final at Parnell Park tomorrow (throw-in 12.15pm).

The Mourne girls recorded a dramatic 3-9 to 3-8 victory over Longford in Clones last weekend to book their place in the final, which is part of a triple-header with the Division 1 and 2 deciders. All three games will be shown live on TG4.

Down will need big performances from the likes of the Fegan twins, Orla and Sinead, Hazel Jordan and Kyla Trainor if they're to get the better of the reigning All-Ireland intermediate champions. Tweet
