New jerseys for the Under 10's

U-14 boys suffered a narrow defeat against Bryansford last Monday night
Minor Footballers had a good victory against St Joseph's last Tuesday night
Seconds had a sixteen point win over An Riocht last Wednesday in Kilkeel
The club had its annual awards ceremony on Friday night. A fantastic night was had by everybody. The winners were:
Senior Player of the Year: Conor Laverty
Seconds Player of the Year: Alphonsous McEvoy
Thirds Player of the Year: John Devlin
U-21 Player of the year: Ciaran McClean
Minor Player of the year: Aidan Fulcher
The Novelty Act team were presented with awards after they won the Ulster title and finished runners up in the All Ireland Final
Mary Claire Grant got a special award for being part of the Down Minor Camogie team which won the All Ireland title against Meath.
The Senior footballers were presented with their senior championship medals, Seconds were presented with their league medal and Senior Ladies Footballers were presented with their league medals after they won Intermediate League.
The club would like to thank our guest speakers; Martin McAvinney, Peter Quinn and Sean Og McAteer who all spoke very well.

On Saturday 18th May the club is taking a bus to Croagh Patrick so that members and friends can climb this iconic Mountain. The cost to each individual shall be £100 and this includes a return bus journey, 1 night hotel stay, an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. The bus leaves Kilcoo early on the Saturday Morning with the climb of Croagh Patrick the same day and returns Sunday. Local school teacher Kevin Kane is appealing for all of your old football jerseys and football boots to be donated to assist a school in Uganda. A great way of giving your cupboards a spring clean and helping a worthy cause. They can be given to any committee member at the pitches most evenings.
